Say you have an auction where the starting price is the same as the buy it now. Are the fees the same as they would be for a fixed price auction?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think fixed price listings are cheaper. For normal listings, you are charged extra for having a BIN price, so I would assume they would be higher. When I use the fixed price listings, I put multiple quantities available, so I haven't really observed the fee for an individual item.

thx. It's just that once you make a regular style auction and want to relist a similar item, it doesnt let you change it to fixed price(I think?), and I dont feel like making an entire new auction. But since you pay less fees for fixed price, maybe I should do it.

It does let you change the listing format, you just have to keep hitting the "Back" tab towards the bottom of the page a few times.

Yeah, I've had that happen to me.
Damn annoying!

Same here, but someone ended up bidding on it instead of using the BIN at the same price. Occasionally I get lucky like that.
