This deck uses Electrode ex to explode, then give all of the Energies to Exeggutor and own.
Pokemon 21
4 Exeggcute
4 Exeggcutor
3 Voltorb
3 Electrode ex
2 Pidgey
1 Pidgeotto
2 Pidgeot
2 Jirachi DX

Energies 18
6 Psychic
4 Metal
6 Electric
2 Heal

Trainers 21
4 Celio's Network
4 Copycat
3 Rare Candy
3 Lanette's Net Search
3 Ancient Tomb
2 Wally's Training
2 Mr. Stone's Project

The basic strategy is to get out all of your evolutions as fast as possible, get a loaded Jirachi killed, explode to Exeggutor, and kill everything. Use Pidgeot to get whatever you need, and try to start with Jirachi early game. What do you think?

Interesting Idea. Don't forget if you need a mulligan Exeggutor's first attack is a great draw. Not sure about the desert ruins. I think that Battle Frontier would be a better stadium for the deck. True that you could end up locking out Pidgeot's power, but in some situations that may not matter much. If you're opponent is Darktrode, i.e., you can stop Dark Electrode, Dark Dragonair, or even Dark Dragonite with it. Or another deck using Pidgeots might be good to frontier if they don't seem to have as good as of a hand as you, you don't want them to get the chance to improve theirs. The only real psychic threat comes from Metagross in this format, or perhaps a Slowking. So instead of BF, you may prefer Mt Moon for Slowkings, and with Exeggutor, you'll more than likely be able to knock out Metagross anyway.

Your main point here in Rare Candy is for Pidgeot, which has a main point of more draw, I think that with all the draw you already have you'd be best to remove 1 Pidgeot and 1 Pidgey as well as 2 of the rare candies. That way even if Pidgeot is prized, you have plenty more draw here because the cards you'll add are 4 TVR for discarding energy for Electrode to bomb onto Exeggutor.

I'd go with -2 Copycat and +2 Steven's though, since a big thing right now is Swarming with Ludicolo's, Metagross, etc. Since you're main object with Electrode ex is to bomb, I'd recommend taking 2 of the lightnings away for 2 Swoop! Teleporters, -1 Lanette's and +1 more Swoop. The idea of the Swoops is after Jirachi helps get what you need, you swoop for Exeggute, Wally to Exeggutor, then Electrode Bomb to regain energy.

For the most part, looking pretty good, after some testing let me know how it works, it's an interesting idea. Good luck with it.

yeah battle frontier is needed...because exeggutor does so much damage the plus 10 wont make a difference...but you should add energy root forexeggutors low hp and

energy
SCRAMBLE... you go down two prizes soon as you explode with electrode add scramble and you're flipping 3more coins...

Double rainbow energy flip 2 more coins for one energy....

and you have to have POW in this deck you dont want to waste all that time killing a jirachi or some other set up/stall pokemon..soon as you explode....pow up the main attacker, rockets admin attach scramble and you've koed your opponents big hitter ...

so you need...

magby
rockets admin
energy root
scramble
double rainbow energy
pow hand extention

Magby's good, but I don't know if it's the best of things for this deck to Take up a card slot when there is plenty of other draw here anyway. But yeah, I completely forgot scramble and double rainbow. Also, energy root would defintely be good for Exeggutor. Good suggestions, though.

I agree with Muk Man. Except instead of Magby run Magmar. Then your energy should look like this.

Energy
7 Psychic
4 DRE
4 Scramble
3 Boost

You don't need trode to attack. 3 Coins for a boost=good

So let's see, the new list should look like :

Pokemon : 19
4 Exeggcute
4 Exeggcutor
3 Voltorb
3 Electrode ex
1 Pidgey
1 Pidgeotto
1 Pidgeot
2 Magmar (TRR, I believe)

Energies 18
7 Psychic
4 DRE
4 Scramble
3 Boost

Trainers 23
3 Celio's Network
1 Copycat
1 Steven's Advice
3 Rocket's Admin
2 Lanette's Net Search
2 Battle Frontier (spelling ?)
2 Wally's Training
1 Mr. Stone's Project
4 TV Reporter
2 Swoop! Teleporter
2 Pow! Hand Extension

You'll notice that aside from what everyone has already said I also removed the last remaining rare candy and added in 2 Rocket's Admins (since you'll be bombing with Electrode ex your opponent will likely be low on prizes.) With the high amounts of draw, I removed 1 Celio's Network and 1 BF for the 2 Pow! Hand Extensions. As A.Threatz pointed out, Magmar would be a nice hold in this deck, discard the 2 energies, draw 4 cards, then that will help bomb the energies on to Exeggutor.

It pretty much ends up being a variation of ZRE running Exeggutor instead of Rayquaza though. Another alternative could be Dusclops ex, but I'm sure Exeggutor will do fine if you run with him.

It is your deck after all, so feel free to cut and paste and edit as you wish, hope the others and I were of help :)

I'd say Copycat is definitely worth it with all the draw in this format. Ludicargo, Pidgeot, T2 decks, Magmar, Steven's, etc. And I would say that there is definitely enough energy in there at 18. Besides, Exeggutor's attack only actually NEEDS 2 energies if I'm recalling correctly. There's no need for any more energies.

Oh yeah, that was mentioned above. I think I forgot those in my revised draft, not sure on things that he could take out, though.

1-1-1 Pidgeot is absolutely retarted..

Why not drop 1 Card and run a 2-2 Cargo line and have it be just as effective..

Some food for thought

2-2 Cargo takes up 1 less slot than the 2-1-2 pidgeot i was going to edit in as well your draw per turn, or one of the draws from a draw card you use. Pidgeot is definitely the better of the two for this deck.

I totally agree, but it won't be just as effective, it would be WAY more effective. Also a 3/2/3 Pidgeot doesn't work without Rare Candy.

Yeah, I just realized that without going 2-1-2 Pidgeot you'd need another slot for the rare candy, duh! Getting tired tonight, anyway, thats 6 slots. 6 Pidgeot or 4 Magcargo, I think I'd have to go with the 2-2 Magcargo line on this one too, my bad.

I've been running this deck for a long time now and have come to find that (for me at least) it works best with the 2/2 magcargo line and a BUTTLOAD of energy.....try to get as much as you can at least and I also added a few plusles in there to be sure that you can get the eggs up..but that's just my strat. Hope to be helpful XD

i played it so:

3 plusle
2 Magmar
3 eggxecute
3 eggexecutor
2 cvoltorb
2 electrode
2 slugma
2 magcargo

1 retriever
3 swoop
4 tv reporter
4 admin
4 pow
4 celio's

4 double
4 scramble
2 heal
1 boost
7 psyco
2 Lightning

I'm glad to see a deck that is based upon luck like this one is gaining in popularity. I used to run it a while back and recommended it to a few players heading to 2005 world's. With the addition of energy root, this actually makes this deck so much better. The only thing I'd object to in your updated list is that you tend to have quite a few supporters. 17 seems a bit excessive - probably about 4 too many since you can only actually use one per turn. My advice - run Scott , and put in less other supporters, that way you can search for the ones you need at any given time, plus guarantee a stadium as well.
