Electric Barrier & Shadow Room / Damage Even

Hi there,

Quick question : if I have a Manectric PT either benched or attacking, and I'm facing say a Gengar or a Dusknoir SF 1 , can they attack my bench with their damage counter placing attacks , or does Electric Barrier Poke-Body protects them from being attacked ?

Placing damage counters is not the same as doing damage.
