Electrode red face paint deck critique please.

I ran a deck with electrode for battle rode for fun, but it was electrode and Jumpluff, my strategy was have jumpluff out start sniping bench till everything dies in one hit for 100 then bring out trode (everything in the deck had free retreat) then swing for one hit.. I got 3rd.. It was pretty sweet. But I like this idea, here my list

I like the idea, but I have one major problem with this deck. You will not be able to use Ampharos's Cluster Bolt to its fullest. If you wanted to snipe the bench, every energy attached to Ampharos goes into the discad pile. Not good. Also the whole deck is weak to the biggest element in format, Fighting.

First off, he doesnt have to discard all the enrgy to hit bench, he can be strategic with it and only use it when he needs it.. also Fighting is not the biggest element

I was wondering what exactly is considered "lightning" energy. Lets say you have a holon's castform and 1 lightning energy attached to Ampharos. Now the attack only requires 1 lightning energy to use clusterbolt so if you attack would you just discard the single lightning energy if you wanted to hit the bench or would you discard everything?

^ Holon's Castform counts as 2 of Every type of energy. That includes lightning/THunder. So you still have to discard all of them for the attack.
One lightning and 2 non-activated Scrambles would mean you only discard one energy, but otherwise, (for the lists in this thread) You will be discarding 3 Energy too often.
