Elite Trainer Box feedback

The card sleeves are QUALITY items. I just tore one up on video. Those things are incredibly tough to tear. I'll put their quality at least on the level of the black Professor Sleeves, if not higher. My only concern is peeling, based on how I think these things were put together. But the adhesive used seems fairly strong, so I'm not as concerned as I probably would be otherwise.

OK since I just bought the new Plasma Blast Elite Trainer Box, here are my thoughts.

Box itself: Better designed than the Plasma Storm one.
So when you close the box it doesn't need to be pried open.
With Plasma Storm if you took out the cardboard things, and put the box together there was a huge gap.
This made it hard to keep the box from going inside the taller part & getting stuck.

Contents:
More packs=more chances for a better card.
Though with the odd distribution in this set, it really didn't help.

Dividers=Nice idea, though if your serious about keeping your cards seperated, you probably have a set of some sort of dividers.
If you do this next time, maybe enough dividers to sort the types of Pokemon/trainers.
Having a sticker sheet with the various energy/Pokemon types.

Dice=I really like the dice. Though the set symbol thing is fun, it really confuses people.

Markers=Awesome. People who complain about the burn marker design, look at the ones in the starter decks.

Sleeves=Look amazing & seem to be very good quality.
Small issue would be with the foil interior, it might be prone to bending.
Including 4-5 extra sleeves was very nice.

Energy=I am in the same boat on this as lots of people.
If you are a new player, its great.
However this is called the "Elite Trainer Box" and any elite trainer should have more energy than they can use.
It's fine if they did something like those HeartGold energies, or maybe like the "Play Pokemon" ones.
Since not everybody gets enough points to get those from Pokemon.
I still say they need some sort of staple trainers or useful Pokemon.
Or perhaps ditch the energy in favor of a special promo.

Overall=Good product, good price, and good idea.
Now just don't flood the market by doing these every set.
Maybe every two sets, and include packs from the set you skip?

Or perhaps ditch the energy in favor of a special promo.

NEVER. Energy is crucial, as this is the only product that includes all eight energy types in one product.

The "Elite" in elite trainer box is confusing, as the the products make those who aren't elite, elite. Elite trainers technically have everything in the box anyway, so if it was truly for elite trainers, it would contain nothing.

I find the reasoning for not including something because you already have too much of it, is a poor reason not to include it. It is better to include it, because those who don't have it can have it, and those who already have it can have the option of having more, or not having it at all, whereas, if it wasn't included, those who don't have it will never have it, and those who already have it, won't have the option of having more. Therefore it is better to include it than not to include it, if you know what I mean. This only applies to something that doesn't raise the price of the product by a huge margin.

The energy does need to change up a bit in terms of background art for each ETB release, but on the other hand, the deck looks nicer if all the energies look the same.

Well if you have a local league, they should have a box full of energy to give to newer players for free.

Very recently I gave my local league a bag full of energy (like 50 of each kind).
Which they proceeded to give to the kids that attended the Pokemon Summer Camp the store has.
