I know a lot of you are getting tired about listening to Mewtwo EX, so I apologise. Something that did get my attention, however, and is something I believe could be very noteworthy is the role Emboar / Magnezone might play in the Mewtwo EX format.
Now, I mention this specifically because Emboar / Magnezone (Magneboar going forward) is currently the best deck to take advantage of a particular card which I think may be quite handy against Mewtwo EX. Rayquaza-Deoxys Legend, I'm noting, is a curiously handy card in the Mewtwo EX matchup that, given if Mewtwo does become the Yog-Sothoth of the format, RDL has the ability to OHKO Mewtwo EX for 3 prize cards.
Of course, it gets return KO'd, but that now means that the Emboar / Magnezone player plays to three prizes, and then aims for RDL. This is in conjunction with the usual - Magnezone is resistant to X-Ball (you can spread energy and still do a lot of damage with Lost Burn) and both Emboar and Magnezone require more than Mewtwo's usual damage output to OHKO. Do you guys think that this relationship could bear an impact on Magneboar's play?
