Emerging Powers in LA?

The decks officially come out on the 17th. Walmart and Target are notorious for putting out their product 2-3 days early. So tomorrow or the next day the decks should be in just about any Target or Walmart.

The packs themselves, however, don't come out for 3ish weeks. They were only out (As far as I know) in two stores in New York. Don't expect to find them anywhere.
 
My Wal-mart sucks....mine is notorious for putting stuff out 2-3 days late. Oh well it doesn't really matter. I'm probably the only competitive player in this whole county and I just buy singles online anyways. :p
 
For what it's worth....

Found Emerging Powers starter decks at Walmart in Foothill Ranch, CA today.
But not at Target in Rancho Santa Margarita last night.

No sign of booster packs, though.
 
It's a shame that these newer theme decks don't come with a booster pack like the HGSS ones did. They'd be snatched up pretty quickly, but it'd mean more sales for TPCi.

Of course, you can also try going to a Prerelease event. Since you mentioned Los Angeles (should be "L.A." in the title, not "LA" as in Louisiana) and someone else mentioned Foothill Ranch & Rancho Santa Margarita, here are my two Prerelease events in Orange County, CA if either of you are interested:
