okeball: Hi all! An Emerging Powers Prerelease has been scheduled for Edmonton, Alberta okeball:

WHERE: Happy Harbor Comics Vol.2, 180 Manning Crossing

WHEN: Sunday, August 21, 2011

REGISTRATION START: 11:15am

REGISTRATION END: 12:00pm

COST: $30 (including GST, cash only)

WHAT TO BRING: Legal randomizer, damage counters and status markers

WHAT YOU GET: 6 B & W Emerging Powers booster packs to build a 40 card deck, basic energy is provided. At the end of the tournament, 2 more booster packs and Emerging Powers promo items.

This event is capped at 40 players so if you are DYING to go, make sure to preregister by emailing your name, date of birth and Player ID number to Cynthia at [email protected]

(Please remember there is absolutely no trading allowed until the end of the tournament)

Trade whatever you want from any set other that the ones you get at the Prerelease. The Prerelease cards may be traded the SECOND the event is over. However, we EXPECT the trades to be fair especially where juniors are concerned so, we are watching and may ask to inspect trades if we think the kids aren't getting a fair deal.

@Charlie: Check around your local area. The minimum price for a prerelease is $25 and you may find a better price locally.

At $30 it's a mighty good deal here. That $3.75/pack + collectible items only available at prereleases. Not to mention the absolute fun and excitement of playing in a tournament with brand-spankin' new cards not yet released for sale. Priceless! :thumb::thumb:
