Emolga's Call for Family

When I have a full bench, can I still use Call for Family? If I have a bench of 4, can still I place 1 Pokemon on my bench?

You can use the attack if you have the correct energy on Emolga, even if your bench is full.
You can search your deck.
If your bench is full, you can't put any more Pokemon in play.
If you have one spot available, you can put one Pokemon onto the bench.
Or, you can choose to fail the search.
