Errata Blaziken.

God there are so many differences, we'd have to errata them ALL then. Blaziken is already diminished in power, so doing this would completely remove it, which is completely stupid. This would stop people like me from coming to worlds, because we don't have any other options of decks to play. This may enlighten some of you, but it's rather dumb.

GJ: Why would this stop you from going to Worlds?? You could dismantle your BAR/RAMBO/Blaze varient and build a new deck, using many of the same trainers. Many people take apart decks to build others. Not everyone is blessed to have the right (or enough) cards to play/build a BAR, etc deck. My son has only gotten 1 REX via a trade, none in any of the many many packs he has opened. He also only pulled 1 firestarter Blaze. He could NEVER build a Blaze varient deck even if he wanted to. IMHO, pokemon is more about building several decks and tweaking them to fit the changes that each set brings, not simply sticking w/ 1 archtype deck forever. Just my 2 cents worth and this isnt meant to be an attack on GJ. Just a mere response. Plus, if TPC is errata-ing and changing rules to accomodate their players, they should fix the Blaze "error" IF there is one.

Yeah, dismantle Blaziken, ok. Thatll work. Then maybe I could play Hypno AQ/Crystal Charizard.

I don't have any other decent decks, because I Don't waste money buying packs. I have a future to look at, and constantly buying packs with my work money is ridiculous, HOPING to get good cards. I do not have any other competition-worthy deck. I would not bother goign to worlds if i didn't think I had a decent chance at winning. And it's not so much 'blessed' to have the right. Blaziken isn't even alone at the top now. All the decks have become very even, and althoguh Blaziken in still there, it is not alone at the top. And maybe you should focus on buying single cards, which is what I did, instead of copmlaining that you didn't get the cards in packs. You could spend like 1/10th the money you spend on packs to get a good Blaziken deck, which is what I did. I ended up spending about $70 to get an entire Blaze deck, NONE OF THE CARDS COMING FROM PACKS. So I don't feel like wasting money, and they better not change the Blaze ruling, because this would handicap a whole load of players.

Let me get this straight...

You want to be the WORLD CHAMPION of a card game for which you only have cards for ONE deck, and you refuse to buy any packs of cards?!

Why would anybody who's interested in playing just because they want to play buy PACKS?!? You could just buy the single cards you need for your deck online. I'm not concerned about my collection, so I bought the single cards I needed for my deck and constructed it. I didn't waste hundreds of dollars on boxes and boosters to try to find the cards for my Gardevoir deck. I can spend much much much less money by simply buying the singles online. Buying boosters is pointless unless you're interested in collecting cards as well as playing them. To somebody like myself or Joner that is only really worried about putting a deck together, buying packs proves fruitless unless you're Superman and have X-Ray vision and can see what's inside of them.

Nicole - You are obviously misreading what GrandmaJoner said. He bought the SINGLE CARDS he needed for his deck by constructing his own list, not went up to somebody, asked, "How much are you charging for that Blaziken list?" and bought it. Unless I'm terribly mistaken, he's not that kind of player and I find it amusing that so many people would jump to that conclusion about somebody that they hardly even know. Do you know GrandmaJoner in person? I don't think you do, he lives in Canada. Do you talk to him on a regular basis? I don't think so, or you wouldn't be judging him like that.

what's wrong with not buying packs? i for one don't buy any packs anymore because i win them all at prereleases, and if not, he might not have that kind of money to buy boxes to collect sets....

well said my freind...well said

I agree

I hate buying packs
the only packs I open are the ones that I win
everything else usually comes for Ebay or similar

You dont understand. Playing a card game is about more about just buying a deck and playing with just that deck forever. Its a trading card game, you have to mix and match different cards to make different strategies. Not buying packs is just...I dont see how you could go about without having SOME packs, even if you just win them. Also think about it from a marketing standpoint. If they changed blaziken and suddenly your deck wasnt as good anymore. Many people would have to go buy MORE cards boosting sales for them. Granted that would be bad for those of you who spent $10-$20 for each of your blazikens, buts thats life.
