Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Everything you need to know about DARK MAX

First off, great article! I very much enjoyed reading it. I had just a couple of thoughts, which may or may not even be helpful, about a couple techs you've included. I was thinking Garbodor might be a very useful tech for the mirror, as you can shut off your opponent's Dark Trance and Dark Cloak at the end of your turn, right before you attack. Then, at the beggining of your next trun (or subsequent turn after that, if you don't need you Abilities for a turn), Tool Scrapper your own Garbodor, opening up your own Dark Cloak and Dark Trance Abilities. This would, of course, be situational, requiring expert timing. One can only fit so many tools and Tool Scrappers in the deck. But it might provide a crucial stall, slowing down your opponent's set-up or recovery for one or two turns, which could swing the game drastically in your favor. Rescue Scarf would be my personal choice for use with Garbodor, but Giant Cape could work as well. Admittedly, this could all just be a bunch of theorymon-ing...
My next thought would be about Dark Hydreigon; if one wants to put the effort into running 2-2 Dragon/Dark Hydreigon, and 3-4 Double Colorless energies, this could take opponents off-guard. Put Double Colorless energies onto your Active Dark Hydreigon, and move them back to a benched Dark Hydreigon using Dark Trance (from the Dragon type Hydreigon) when you need to Max Potion your active. I realize how difficult it would be to set up 3 Stage 2 lines, especially all at the same time, but this stretegy could provide an unexpected, and steady (spread) pressure. One could also always tech Regigigas or some other attacker that abuses Double Colorless. One wouldn't need to set up 3 Hydreigons, only two, but this strategy might even be a little less effective, due to not being able to recycle the Double Colorless between Dark Hydreigon. This whole strategy is completely theorymon-ed out though (way more than my Garbodor suggestion), as one risks having the wrong (the Dark one) Hydreigon at the wrong time, prizing the one you need set up ASAP (the Dragon one), or a myriad of other problems. Just a couple quick thoughts I had while reading the tech section.
