Hello, first of all ty for the response to my question... My question is if I have an Evosoda in my hand as well as a stage 2 can I use the evosoda to evolve my basic that is on my bench... For example.

I have a Squirtle on my bench (he was placed last turn) and I have a Blastoise and an evosoda in my hand. Can I just evolve the Squirtle to Blastoise from my hand? or do I have to search my deck for a Blastoise and use that one?
 
It says right on the card it must come from your deck. Also if it is squirtle on you bench you have to get wartortle not blastoise.
 
I was under the impression that Evosoda was phasing out Rare Candy, which would allow me to skip a Stage 1 evolution...
