Anything from Emerald doesn't count as a set in that context, as it was just a selection of random cards from different places bundled into one easily marketable expansion.

yes, me and domjordan were discussing on AIM for alakazam being introduced in this set.
thing is, the way i see it is that all the delta pokemon will appear in the set if they have been in a previous set in a non-delta form (but in ex-form possibly). the only set that doesn't go with my theory is team magma vs. team aqua (spheal's line, and possibly something else--to tired to care really). but, if zam is in this set as a delta species pokemon, i'm sure it'll be in this set as an ex pokemon aswell.
 
well, thats true--like i said, i was way too lazy to really give a darn.
still, i think if zam is delta in this set, it will be an ex aswell (so 2 zam's in one set). but, if its not ex, then it probably won't be delta.
 
The logic behind pichu being in this set is nonexistant.

I'm not saying it's not, but there's nothing even close to conclusive that says it will be.
 
What, pikachu can't be without its prepromo? Judging from the art it's probably something along the lines of a secret rare anyway...
 
How the Fudge does that art make it a secret rare? And every time that Pikachu's been without Pichu in a set since the release of Neo has been for a very good reason, such as Pichu not being in the generation the set's focused on. Not only that, but there hasn't been a Pichu for 8 consecutive sets, a number only matched by Azurill and beaten only by 'zam. Finally, there's a 1/3 chance of a non-Delta (and possibly non-Holon too, although it's a pretty shaky translation) Pikachu/Raichu line being in this set.
 
Electrode, Diglett, Nidoran, Mankey, Venusaur, Rattata, Fearow, Pidgey, Seaking, Jolteon, Dragonite, Gastly, Ponyta, Vaporeon, Poliwrath, Butterfree!
 
I believe there will be a Gardevoir, seeing as someone said they were doing a review of Gardevoir and Mewtwo, at least the artwork, from the next set, but couldn't release actual images, until the release, or something.

Hmm, something just occured to me. We haven't seen a single Delta Species yet whose primary type isn't one of the three types making up the Half Deck Halves. Crobat will hopefully change that though.
 
Most likely the Rapidash will be both those types, and the deck will have a whole load of others those types.
 
Why is it odd? Delta Species Rapidash is obviously Fire/Metal. Shelgon and Flareon will probably be in there too, and hopefully Camerupt. Plus if my new theory's true, crazy things like Weezing and Donphan and Togetic!... This is probably the first time I hope my theory is incorrect.
