i would talk to your TO about using them...

as it stands all the city championships in north america will be completed the week before the deoxys prerelease... convenient, no? there are some city championships in finland and chile that are being held in february.

seeing as how these cards will be released in north america on february 14th, i think its safe to say that you would not be able to use them for your cc, since a localized version is not available.

Don't bother about Leo's comments,
It's neither true nor confirmed.
Our CC is arranged before Deoxys during January, so there is no need to ask or believe a single word that Leo says.
He did not know about the difference in time btw CCs before posting.

No Pokemon.com doesn't list tournament event dates.The thing that shows Friends Prizes and stuff at the top of the page is a link to a op.pokemon tcg- something but anyways it's a link use it.

Just to remind those from history. Last year, players were not allowed to use EX: Team Magma vs. Team Aqua cards in their City Championships since prereleases and the release date overlaped the remaining weeks of City Championships.

The reason is because a Championship series needs to keep the same card pool for the most part during the whole series. This way players have the same equal continuing advantage against each other. I believe CC are pretty much wrapped up this year before the next Prerlease so it is not as much of a problem.
