This set is one in a series of sets whose DS-transmitted data is linked together. Here's a road map of the sets:

EX: Aqua's Fury
-A set involving Team Aqua. Focus is Water-types.
EX: Magma's Wrath
-A set involving Team Magma. Focus is Fire-types.
EX: Flora's Rage
-A set involving Team Flora. Focus is Grass-types.
EX: Plasma's Anger <--- YOU ARE HERE
-A set involving Team Plasma. Focus is Electric-types.
EX: Rocket's Madness
-A set involving Team Rocket. Focus is Poison-types and variety.
EX: Team Mania
-A big reprint set. Which of your favorite cards are making a comeback?
EX: Return to Light
-A set devoted to Light Pokémon, Dark Pokémon's exact opposite.
EX: Draco's Emergence
-A brand-new team steps up to the plate. Focus is Dragon-types.

This set focuses on Team Plasma, a team using mainly Electric-types in their quest to control Kyogre and expand electrical activity. In addition to cards with Plasma in their name that symbolize Team Plasma-possessed Pokémon, there are also a selection of Dark Pokémon corrupted by Team Plasma, normal Pokémon that evolve into the Darks, and three new Holon Pokémon that can double as Energy cards. Let's just say that Holon isn't exactly safe from Team Plasma.

Also in this set are Team Plasma Trainer cards inspired by those from other teams in other sets. When making references to certain types involving Team Plasma, {L} takes precedence over all others.

All Pokémon types presented in this list are straightforward. There are no dual-types in this set.

We've been experiencing problems with an annoying feature called the "bump grinder". This causes posts to merge when they should be separate, and also leaves annoying garbage between what was once separate posts. Life with the bump grinder causes more headaches than life without it, and the bump grinder is a feature that the CaC forum can live without. Anyway, if you do end up with garbage from the bump grinder, please clean it up so that the posts with the cards in them don't look tacky.
