Based on past trends with respect to upcomming cards, I think there's a good probability that the following will be ex's we'll see:

Raichu ex (infered from current Raichu ex's Poke-Body)
Ninetails ex (infered from delta species Ninetails attack)
Aerodactyl ex (Infered from Legend Maker Strange Cave)
Kabutops ex (Infered from Legend Maker Omastar's Poke-Body)
Lucario ex (infered from Japanese scans of their current set and given that this is reported to be the last ex set)

The first four have a very high degree of probability I feel, while the last one is less likely but easily possible based on the inference referenced.

10-1 we see something that hurts EXes (besides Wobbuffet). It would significantly level the playing field if, say, Desert Ruins came back.

Other than that, I'd say you'll see a lot of stuff designed to level out the metagame going into D/P and beyond.

Thats true. I seen alot of new cards that Refered to old cards to that are no longer Playable. Just like Elekid's Magnetic Trip with Low Preasure. For a while Low Preasure wasnt out until POP 3. We could see those Ex back as well. You forgot an old UF Scyther's Twin Play

Your forgetting the JPN was RS-ON so those cards were printed with the same wording since they were still in JPN's format but not ours. It doesnt mean anything. The only time it means anything if a pokemon does something if a certian stadium is in play. Then you can pretty much expect it to be printed or reprinted,

just dont bring back blasty ex and im happy  Well in Dragon Frontiers we were expecting both Copycat AND Steven's Advice as it was in the *** df set. Im guessing they moved stevens to Power keepers instead so i expect to see it in this set. Vap* and Flar* is obviously going to be in the set jsut cause it makes sense. Raichu i think is going to be a new ex and is a reprint of emerald shall sell on ebay asap!! Bring back rocket's admin and lets see how great the holon engine with casty really is

I am betting on a reprint of Rayquaza EX from Dragon, as it was released as a Japanese promo, and is legal in their current rotation.

Of course this is pure speculation, or wishful thinking, but it'd be nice if ATM Rock showed up, Steven's Advice, Rocket's Admin, and Holon Transceiver (to bring down the high prices of transceivers). However, I'm just happy to see a new set - one that we know so little about. It's great that they gave us a bit of a teaser, but even better to not know much about the set, so we're surprised by it.

I realize that, but as long as we're speculating, it's the best foundation for such that I've been able to surmise :)

In the part when they were talking about8 mroe ex's, after that, did they mean to put the fancy [star] symbol, but it couldnt show up?

They could make Espeon and Umbreon secret cards. The last couple of set did not have secret cards

If Absol ex is first of 8 ex PKMN #92 & Jolteon* is #101 of 108, let's make some observations:
  • The 'Star' PKMN come at the end of all the other sets.
  • Anything beyond those PKMN has been a 'Secret Rare' numbered higher than the printed set size.
With 8 ex PKMN that would end the ex at #99 and put a 'Star' PKMN at #100. Flareon could be #100 as that would precede Jolteon alphabetically. If there were those two, then Vaporeon would be #102. There is room for more 'Star' PKMN in this set, but we know there are only 3.

So, what are at numbers 103-108 that are NOT the usual 'end of the set' type of cards? The foil basic energies.

I'm thinking basic energy. 3 stars, fire, water, grass, fighting, psychic, electric = last 9 cards of set.

Absol ex = 92
second of eight ex = 93
third of eight ex = 94
fourth of eight ex = 95
fifth of eight ex = 96
sixth of eight ex = 97
seventh of eight ex = 98
eighth of eight ex = 99
Flareon* = 100
Jolteon* = 101
Vaporeon* = 102
Electric Energy = 103
Fighting Energy = 104
Fire Energy = 105
Grass Energy = 106
Psychic Energy = 107
Water Energy = 108 of 108
