This set is one in a series of sets whose DS-transmitted data is linked together. Here's a road map of the sets:

EX: Aqua's Fury
-A set involving Team Aqua. Focus is Water-types.
EX: Magma's Wrath
-A set involving Team Magma. Focus is Fire-types.
EX: Flora's Rage
-A set involving Team Flora. Focus is Grass-types.
EX: Plasma's Anger
-A set involving Team Plasma. Focus is Electric-types.
EX: Rocket's Madness <--- YOU ARE HERE
-A set involving Team Rocket. Focus is Poison-types and variety.
EX: Team Mania
-A big reprint set. Which of your favorite cards are making a comeback?
EX: Return to Light
-A set devoted to Light Pokémon, Dark Pokémon's exact opposite.
EX: Draco's Emergence
-A brand-new team steps up to the plate. Focus is Dragon-types.

This set focuses on Team Rocket, a team using varieties of types (largely Poison-types) in their quest for world domination. In addition to cards with Rocket in their name that symbolize Team Rocket-possessed Pokémon, there are also a selection of Dark Pokémon corrupted by Team Rocket, normal Pokémon that evolve into the Darks, and three new Holon Pokémon that can double as Energy cards. Let's just say that Holon isn't exactly safe from Team Rocket.

Also in this set are Team Rocket Trainer cards inspired by those from other teams in other sets. When making references to certain types involving Team Rocket, {G} takes precedence over all others. If a Rocket-in-its-name {G} Pokémon is in any way Poison-type, the {P} Weakness takes precedence.

All Pokémon types presented in this list are straightforward. There are no dual-types in this set.

Here's the set list:

Yes, there was a Rocket's Tyranitar card in Japan. It was a secret card in the VS. set (142/141; this was before the days of Pokémon-ex and Pokémon-* and there were no Shinings in VS.), hence its existence in a modified form in this set.

Also, I mentioned that most of the reprints are MODIFIED reprints. That means various tweaks have been, can be, and will be made.

We've been experiencing problems with an annoying feature called the "bump grinder". This causes posts to merge when they should be separate, and also leaves annoying garbage between what was once separate posts. Life with the bump grinder causes more headaches than life without it, and the bump grinder is a feature that the CaC forum can live without. Anyway, if you do end up with garbage from the bump grinder, please clean it up so that the posts with the cards in them don't look tacky.

And what's with taking up a ton of reservations when you've been known not to do them? I'm giving you the Primeape line, Piloswine line, Lunatone, and Solrock, and that's it for your first set of reservations. I don't want one of my sets turned into [OOPS!] by an irresponsible CaCer.

Can't let you have some of them. Especially the Trainers. I want the Trainers done right, and I fear you wouldn't do so. I also fear you'd mess up the legendaries, so I'm not giving them to you. And what's with taking up a ton of reservations when you've been known not to do them? I don't want one of my sets turned into [OOPS!] by an irresponsible CaCer.

And notice gentleman, the only person he thinks isn't a "Irresponsible CaCer" is Sunflorazumarril. He might as well make all the trainers either reserved for him or Sunflorazumarril. And with the whole "You're taking up to many reservations" thing, Sunflorazumarril has reserved about the same amount if not more. This is probably the most biased paragraph I've ever heard.
