Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

EX: Sky Kingdom

Just working on getting the cards to balance properly... they either seem too boken, or too weak... I'll have them up soon.

My Flygon reads:
CC Energy Charge
Search your deck for up to 3 different types of basic Energy cards and attach them to Flygon. Put 1 damage counter on Flygon for each basic Energy card you attach to Flygon. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Somebody said I should change the bit in bold to: every basic Energy card you attach to Flygon in this way.

I don't think it sounds right but should I change it? Does it make it sound more like an actual Pokemon trading card?

Thanks. Should I add 'in this way' to the end of that sentence? It doesn't sound right to me though.

Looking at TAW and TMA, IMO it should be "Put 1 damage counter on Flygon for each basic Energy card you attached".

I can't think of anything more recent that'd contradict that.
