EX to LVX

Is it possable to level up a Pokemon EX ie gardvioir ex level ups to lvx

the reason i see this possably is it gardvier

the "ex" is part of the name.

There is no Level Up card that says "Put onto [Pokemon] ex".
They say "Put onto [Pokemon]"

You go by the text on the card.
Always.

So, you can't do that.
