so I was thinking, what about maybe a Cresselia X line in the deck because stuff will be weakened.
Opinions everyone

I really don't like Quickball in this deck. Only ONCE out of several test games did it grab something that I could actually use. Having Pachirisu and two lines in here really clutters things up as far as GB's odds go. More than anything else in your trainer line that's the thing I would replace with some other pokemon serach.

ya i never found it useful and i noticed in the new list there isnt Crystal Beach, I was playing last night and was like wha??!?!

I FINALLY played games with the deck last night woo :D I went 1-1 vs Fire TRUK. it got very decent starts and I was pleasently surprised.

So what about a Cresselia X because stuff will be weakened so it can be easier to ko, however, it doesn't quite go with my energy scheme.

Finally, what should I put in instead of Quick Ball, I'm going to be putting in 2 Crystal Beach so I have 2 open spaces. What should they be?

i think that if you can find room for it and figure out the energy problem it would be a great addition.
but the energy thing would be a problem...
maybe take out a few fighting for some psychic? thats the best i can think of.

Why two basic Darks? Attacks with Absol ex should almost never happen, so why would you need two? I'd drop if for another Scramble, as well as trying to add a few more Scrambles.

Another flaw of your "expert analysis".

Gallade = 130 HP
Gardevoir = 110 HP
Mag/Mag Lv. X = 110 HP/130HP

It' wouldn't be that bad of an idea to attack with an Absol Ex. But only in very late game. Most likely when your opponent has taken 5 prizes (if it gets to that point), so then 2 Prizes don't come back to hurt you. By then you could have spread enough damage were a few Pokemon would be within KO of the Absol. I haven't tested this but that's why I pointed out the HP of the above Pokemon. All those have "odd" HP, and Exploud does 20 to bench. So you need that extra 10 to get pokemon closer to KO range.

I have lost and won quite a few games now because of 10 HP, and I have been only play for a year and half so don't tell 10 HP doesn't mean anything.

Sure Exploud's first attack can also do 50 but you would rather have the 20 to all. So using the Absol Ex is not a bad option. You would play 2 basic dark energy because of the risk of prizing your single basic dark.

Ok well i went 9-2 at league with this and hey Sparta, Absol ex won we 2 games :D
My record:
3-1 v DuskQueen
0-1 v Mag/Omastar
2-0 v Togekiss/Pelipper
2-0 v Feraligater
2-0 v Queen/King

i added 1 scott and a copycat instead of the other 2 Quick Ball!

what about G/G and Magmortar?

lol can't quite get over the G&G Hump lol but at least they were close games!

Ill add that to the first post..

There's just no way this can beat Gallade. They two hit you even with FF and G attached...and adding Crystal Beach means you can't Boost or Scramble to two hit them. And they take 2 to 3 turns to get another Gallade going, where it take Exploud much longer to be able to charge up. Even more important is drawing into multiple FFs which is really hard. And it looks like the Magmortar matchup looks pretty iffy too...I don't know if this will fit in the metagame well.

Then you haven't used the deck for yourself. You hardly ever use Exploud's 2nd attack, you use the first attack to try and spread damage and Absol Ex can help you knock out cards. If possible, maybe Vanderbilt Grad could post what happened in depth during the games so we now how the deck stacks up, although it is 0-3 vs GG

I have used the deck for myself. You need to be able to use the second attack to catch up, which is really hard when they're KOing your Explouds every other turn. I'll try it out again, but the fact that I haven't seen a win against GG is worrying.

I have yet to play a test game with this deck vs G&G that didn't go down to 1 prize each. I'm 0-4 vs G&G but it's insanely close. Last night for instance the game was decided by a coin toss. Tails for 20 the bench and Exploud wins. Heads & it's a loss. Of course I flipped heads.

Anyway I trimmed my decklist of supporters a bit ... for instance I'm running more balls and less celios. So Telepass doesn't help them as much. Exploud can sometimes lock Crystal Beach in for a few turns and that can hurt them a lot too ... tons of G&G decks use DRE for speed. Weakness wise I've *never* had trouble getting Holon FF out even in the one game where it took me a while to get Claydol ... the thing is that you try to sacrifice at least two things like Pasti so that they can't flip 3 prizes twice. At most they will be able to OHKO a single Exploud once after that. Unown G is also very helpful. It's actually Gardevoir that give me more trouble in the matchup with Psychic Lock. That shuts off the Claydol engine and reduces options.

pichu: what flariados said
Vandy Grad: That's very interesting to know. At least the games are close.

Does anyone know what we could add to the list to possibly make the deck get over the hump and win a game vs G&G?

surely you must struggle to consistently get exploud early Hatter with only TWO celio, and quick ball! with so many diferent pokemon in here, i seriously think that quick ball isnt the play....

im not sure what to suggest vs g+g- in my deck currently i run 1 mawhile GE which i switch for at the beginning of the game- then i flip over their prizes and use whatever supporters i come across :)
just a thought!

Question, Is the dark energy basic or special.

Also to play against gg you could tech in a mew or 2 and play multi instead of dark.

afi: i took out quickball for stuff lol and yes i do get it out :D
and thats a good idea with the mawile, what should i take out for 1 though??

Blaziken: Basic, and ya but smart GG players will shuffle in their ko'd pokemon ASAP when they see me powering up the mew.
