Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Exs in Ross.deck?

How so? You should really elaborate before being so crass

Sure you give them a prize (sans defender) but you're taking 2 prizes and taking out their main attacker. Sure, they could have multiple Mewtwo set up, but those 2 Prizes you get with Weezing can mean all the difference in the world. throw in a rescue or Super Rod + Pokecom or just a 2-2 Weezing line and you can get 2 Mewtwo EX knockouts in a row which, if not a win, will give you at worst a 4 to 3 Prize taken advantage (assuming you knock out their first Mewtwo EX and Weezing, they knock out the next pokemon you bring up and you finish with another Mewtwo EX knockout) and at best a 4 to 1 prize taken advantage (with defenders added in).

Weezing (HGSS)

2nd attack:

.... , and don't apply weakness to this damage.

It would be nice with Rescue Energy, but Blissey (Non-Prime) can do better.

Mewtwo has 170 HP, explode with weezing does 90 damage, mewtwo is weak to weezing so x2 that would mean it does 180 damage, now subtract the 20 from eviolite and doesn't that make 160 which is 10 less than the 170 needed?

If you did play for weakness, you could play Pluspower or Roserade.

That part of Weezing's text is referring to the 90 damage he does to himself. You still apply weakness/resistance to the 90 damage that he does to the Defending Pokemon.
