Hey, they're just trying to help. If someone bought it, you can get sued when they find out it's fake, and you can end up on Judge Judy.

Gorn, Did you tell this ebay user anything about PokeGym? If you did not tell the ebay user about PokeGym I think their may be a troll in our midst.

Think about it, if The Gorn did not tell the ebay user about PokeGym someone here on Pokegym could of saw this thread as an opportunity to have fun at your expense. This user, Demommyof5 did only join pokegym after this thread was created. Think about it... possible troll?
 
Hey-- it may be fake, but at least the condition is pristine (PSA 10 probably, if it were to be professionally graded) and it comes from a home where the smoke is present, but NOT AROUND THE CHILDREN!

I pointed her to this thread.

She wasn't believing me, so I was hoping that the comments of others (on the fake vs. legitimacy of her card) might convince her.

Instead, I feel like I have subjected Pokegym to a lot of hassle.

Next time, instead of trying to let someone know something about the item they're selling I'll just go ahead and report them.

It's not worth the trouble.

I apologize to the board for bringing this here and I ask that this thread be closed.

I think this one is legit. I haven't seen one myself, but I have found others on the Internet.

I thought so at first as well. The border isn't right, but it's not SO far off like the Luxray Lv.X.

(And where Luxray Lv.X had other problems (the font), this card doesn't have those problems.)

I attribute this one to a bad picture.

But I don't believe that any serious buyer would be willing to take a chance on it because it does look a little "odd."

Please stop being so rude. You're giving the pokemon community, and the gym a really bad rep. Dmommyof5 really IS the ebay seller, and is not a troll. She has removed the offending cards, so please back off. She's only a seller who didn't realize her cards were fake, even more so after seeing them come from a supposedly reliable source.

Really guys... do you have to make the gym/pokemon community look so bad?

This, this and this were all unnecessary imo. Rudeness by one party does not give the other reason to be rude back.

No disrespect to you what so ever. These posts ust happened to hit me as a bit unnecessary.

Let me see your badge, officer.

The seller made herself look bad from the get-go. People who make themselves look bad are legitimate targets for criticism. Humor is one often-harmless method of critique. I think it is within my rights to mildly ridicule someone who 1.) tries to sell a horribly damaged FAKE CARD for more than a lot of the REAL, MINT cards are going for and 2.) publicly embarrasses herself in this thread with belligerence, unprofessionalism, bad typing (spelling, grammar, punctuation, the works-- is that how business people communicate?), denial, and off-base accusations ("You are all ABSURD!"). Why would anyone want to do business with someone like this?
