Hi there ! I would like to run Rapidash / Heatran for CC. I need some help:
Here's the list:
Pokémons 21
4 Ponyta DP
4 Rapidash SF
2 Heatran (fire) LA
2 Heatran Lv.X SF
2 Baltoy GE
2 Claydol GE
2 Magmar
2 Magmortar SW
1 Magmortar Lv.X
Trainer: 27
4 Bebe's Search
4 Roseanne Research
1 Luxury Ball
2 Great Ball
2 Energy Link
4 Duskball
2 Switch
2 Warpoint
2 Rare Candy
2 Poké Radar
2 Stark Mountain
Energy: 12
12 Fire energy
Strategy:
Snipe all their basic that they try to set-up from T2 to the end. Magmortar can be used as a surprise attack with Rare Candy. (You can move around energy with Heatran and Stark)
// Testing //
I've tested this deck in a tournament, and I've found that the Magmortar Line was pretty useless. Here's my match:
Tyranitar/Drakrai: The only real problem I had was with me using alot of pokepower, but I found that during mid-game I could just stop using Powers for a few turn (If I store energies during the match, I can move them around and do 60 each turn and discarding)
Kabutops.dek: Well, I'Ve never thought this could have hurted. He had a T2 Kabutops but I had my Rapidash with Heatran + Baltoy in the bench. I've killed him by burning him and then retreating for heatran, and the burn slowly killed him. (he had no bench)
EmpoSpread: WEll, water weakness sucks, it was still close but he was at the end attacking with the new SF one (wich is metal), but he played his Lv.X for the win.
Tyranitar (again?!): Well, he couldn't setup, I wouldn't let him
Machamp: I had T2 'Dash/Heatran Lv.X again, and I didn't let him setup.
