Jirachi and Rocket's Meowth both have their places.

It depends on playstyle, and depends on personal tool/machine preference. Barboach(as seen in whiscash decks;) ) can stop rocket's meowth, so it's sometimes not as good, slowpoke can do it too(mirror match)

jirachi is also usable mid-game, where meowth has to waste an attack for it...

I like Jirachi for 3 reasons.

Number 1: If you don't start off with an energy in your hand, meowth dosen't work while Jirachi does.

Number 2: Jirachi's Wishing Star isn't an attack, so you can use her power, swoop same turn, then attack with Sloking.

Number 3: If you already have a swoop+Jirachi in starting hand, and have no way to get a Sloking, Jirachi can wishing star for either a rocket ball, or a Sloking, while meowth can only grab a tool/machine.

But like RyanVergel said, i guess it depends on playstyle/preference, cuz I can think of other situations where Meowth would be better.

Yeah, Meowth's Snatch and Run is pretty dang good.
Sometimes (not often) you can even use Miraculus Comeback to KO a brute.

But I donno.
I still like 'rachi a little better.
