Well I wanted to post this somewhere else but I guess this is the only place for it. Pokegym needs a "Pokémon general" board!!

Anyway, I just wanted to know who's your favorite player and why. I'll start.

Pooka's my favorite. He does so much for the community it's almost unbelievable. If he's not streaming live TCGO, you can bet he's in his room commentating a match... plus he seems really chill and cool as a person which is always a plus. Not to mention he's one hell of a deck builder and definetely one of the best players in the US.

And just fyi, I don't consider myself a "fanboy" or anything like that, I just like the guy that's all.
 
Master Professor Birch, of North Texas. He's done so much for all of us Texans, and he is a great PTO and I'm glad to call him my PTO. I've known him for 4-5 years, and he is just one nice man.

I felt so welcome going into my first PR...wow, a whole 5 years ago. Can't believe how long it's been.
 
Stephan Blake. He is an awesome writer for the Sixprizes front page, and he makes amazing content. His writing inspires me and many other people, and I think he will continue to have unique views on the metagame, and he is HILARIOUS.
 
I'd have to say Gino Lombardi. Not only has he been amazingly successful as a player, but he's also had to deal with a lot of adversity and has done so in a classy manner.

Gino is seriously one of the coolest people on the face of the planet. I aspire to be as manly as he is one day.
 
Gino Lombardi is obviously the best player to ever play the game, and thus my favorite. Rising from the depths of New Jersey to winning Nationals and (rightfully) winning Worlds, he's simply the man.

Two words: lyrical genius
 
Gino no question. He's legit the best player I've ever met. You may think that some of us are joking, but he's super chill and hilarious but crazy good at the game.
