Favorite set and why?

What is your favorite (english or Japanese) Pokemon expansion and why?

My favorite is probably Stormfront. It introduced a lot of good cards with good artwork as well.

My favorite set is Skyridge because it has nice cards.

Firered & Leafgreen, because it has lots of great ex cards and it was one of the first sets I ever bought cards from.

Dragon Frontiers, it was the newest set when I went to my first tourney

VS for me. I was a huge fan of the Gym sets and seeing this continue with the Johto leaders was a dream come true for me. Not only that, but seeing older versions of Brock & friends was a huge plus. Then there's the fact that all the Pokemon were basic Pokemon and mostly all common types. It was a set I just couldn't wait to get translated into English.

Black and White for me because I loved that it has a lot of good cards. I also liked that it was just abilities and no pokebodies and poképowers anymore. Also it introduced the Full Art cards which we all love. Anyways it introduced some new things and introduced lots of good cards like Revive, Professor Juniper(BSIF), Shift Gear Klinklang, Emboar(Inferno Fangdango), and Reshiram and Zekrom.

But if I had to choose one or two I'd say EX crystal guardian bc I have so many memories with that set. And I like Base set too. I love old cards.
