fearow and staravia MD

i haven't really seen any threads about these pokemon and was wondering why. i used them in a booster draft recently and they worked pretty well. look at them they both have 80hp, 0 retreat same weakness and resist and their attacks both use 1 or 3 energy.

i know they are not the strongest, but as colorless they could stand up as a decent damage dealer/blocker early on in most decks that need more damage dealing. plus there is a stage 2 for staravia currently out (though it sucks) and a new one coming in the next set i think.

so thoughts? been trying to think what deck would work good with them, right now i'm thinking a lightning deck

Fearow is better IMO. Staravia isn't that great at all.


It would be cool to get a Fearow out T2 and start doing at up to 60 (although more realistically 20 or 40) damage to their starter while you set up, although I honestly can't see it becoming popular.

Maybe in just a fun deck, but nothing really competitive.

in drafts, eeveelutions would be best. out of rotating u would at least get a few evolutions and some eevees.
