Look no further, the quest to find your perfect partner ends here. Only £499.95.

This pioneering product is designed for the MyPod generation, and is set to become as popular and well known as the laptop, the sat nav, and even the mobile phone. With interchangeable facial features and expressions to suit you, the RoboGirlfriend allows you to literally build your perfect partner. In addition to her beguiling exterior, state of the art technology gives her qualities that will eclipse your previously fallible and unreliable human girlfriends.

No trips to the gym to maintain her figure, no lengthy discussions about 'commitment', no irritating habits that can't be reprogrammed. This is the most convenient way to conduct a relationship for busy professionals. And no resentment or guilt when you trade her in for a new model!

The RoboGirlfriend stands three foot tall and is available in three models: the Jolie comes with a large assortment of 'babies' (activation optional), while the Ritchie is a smaller model designed for easy storage, or for the vertically-challenged human boyfriends. The popular Spears model features a number of pre-recorded dance routines, ideal for lovers of the club scene, along with removable hair.

The features below list the awesome depth of her functionality, basically you'll never look back.

Features

Your new RoboGirlfriend will:

  • Enter silent mode at the press of a key, for times you don't feel like talking.
  • Converse intelligently on any subject, using data provided by Wikipedia through Wi Fi connection (set her IQ to match yours, and never be outsmarted again).
  • Learn about your family and friends, and store data for later discussion (she will even alter her behaviour according to your favourite and least favourite people).
  • Advise you on information such as listings, train times, street maps, as if you were at your PC.
  • Do your shopping for you, using online shopping and home delivery services of your choice (give her your credit card details and she will organise the rest - and won't overspend like your other girlfriends).
  • Cook meals wherever you are, using her in-built microwave oven (scan the barcode on packaging for optimum cooking time).
  • Navigate flawlessly with integrated GPS.
  • Share your hobbies and interests - update her profile by selecting from categories including music, politics, sport etc.
  • Demonstrate talents, from singing to chess (select a maximum of two from the Personality menu).
  • Source any mains power socket for a 'rest' when charging is necessary - put her in Sleep mode at night, so that she can conserve power while lying next to you in bed.
  • Act as an iPod dock (compatible with all models, using SpeakerButt) and Skype phone.
  • Charge time of 4 hours, the equivalent of 8 hours music and talk, 20 minutes walking, and 1 minute of logical thinking.
  • Suitable for ages 16 years+.

lame.

That's one of the more tasteless April Fool's jokes I've seen today. And I openly mocked the Roman Catholic Church in my April Fool's joke, which is saying something for how lame this is.

now, THIS is an April Fool's joke. It's professionally presented, completely ludicrous, and also slightly believable to those that don't have a brain. Excellent job!!!

Hmmm, sounds a bit like Chobits. Anyone seen that series? Cool idea for a joke though.
