First Play Autumn BRs Report

Hello everyone. This is my first time to Organized Play and I thought it'd be kinda cool to grab a report, so I brough a notebook and jotted down some notes.

Get out of bed at 8:30, leave the house at 10:00, arrive at 10:35, see everyone filling out decklists and going "Lol, noobs" and thank them for letting the event start late.

3 juniors, 10 seniors, and 50+ masters, so they combined Juniors and Seniors into 4 rounds, and split up Masters into two halfs, where one half plays a round while Juniors and Seniors go, then the other half plays when Juniors and Seniors go into the next Round.

6 Rounds for Masters, 4 for the others. Started an hour late because of the deck list things. Lol.

Anyways, I was running a deck filled with Metagross, which surprisingly did good.

Here're the matches:

Round 1 VS. Joshua Johnson, playing Dugtrios and Shiftry RR.
Spiritomb VS Diglett start. Opening hand is Switch, Palmer's, IQ, Magneton, Metang UD, and Scizor Prime. Went well, got my Metagrosses out. He had two Dugtrios, which did 40 to any of my Pokemon retreating. I ended up sacrificing Spiritomb and Metagross UL. All part of the plan, of course. Except Spiritomb. I just went "Retreat... Oh.. dang." He had a Slowking Prime, and twice in a row he got two of the same card (Sp Dark/Sp Dark, Candy/Candy) and we laughed. KO'd two Pokemon with Metagross UL, 3 with Scizor Prime. Finishing statement? "Red Armor for th-" "That's a body." *laughter ensues* Gg.
1-0

Round 2 VS. Mark Garcia, playing something-Chomps.
Scyther VS 2 Garchomp Cs. Basically, lots of Dragon Rush switching, and I accidentally put down a Scyther which he sniped for the win. Also, he had Uxie X out and I stacked all my Metal Energy onto Scizor Prime. Which was overkill. Which ended up dying. And I had no energy on the field. Crobat G -> Dragon Rush Gg. Took one prize the entire game. Gg.
1-1

Round 3 VS. Eric Ha, playing LuxChomp.
Something VS 2 Luxray GLs. I was able to play Ruins of Alph, but his Garchomp just kept getting everything. Dang Conpsiracies. He played one like every turn. Took 2 prizes the entire game. He sprayed a bunch of my Magnetic Reversals. I made a mistake using Warp Point, Switch, and Metagross LA with the 50+ boost on Extra Comet Punch. Gg.
1-2

Round 4 VS. Aviator guy, with the grandpa from the military and longing to be in the Air Force, playing Electrode.
Scyther VS Voltorb. I actually though I could win this one. It took him a while to get out an Electrode, and I barely got any energy. I used Warp Point to bring out a Jirachi. Killed it with Magnezone. He got out the Electrode with an Expert Belt, and I just couldn't hit hard enough. Also used Ruins of Alph in the match. Yay! All his pokemon were resistant to mine, but I still lost. Sadfais. So yeah, Electrode sweep. Gg.
1-3

Round 5 VS. J. Something, playing Lanturn Prime and Electivire FB.
Magnemite VS Chinchou. He quickly sets up a Lanturn Prime and Electivire FB, although no EFBX. I get a Magnezone out and Magnetic Search every turn, allowing to set up my Beldums quickly. I use a lot of Switch and Warp Points, and we both spam Conductive Quarry. After I got a Metang and Metagross in my hand, I used Alph Lithograph, hooray!, to get back Conductive and place BTS. Beldum straight to Metagross, and tried to replace it with Conductive, but I learned that match that you can only play 1 stadium per turn. So I waited, and kinda left BTS out there. I don't think he used any stage 2s except Magnezone SF:lightning:. Used Metagross UD and scored 100 to KO Lanturn Prime. Used Magnezone to snipe 30 on his bench, with worked really well with Gravitation Metagross. Used Magnezone X to win the game. Gg.
2-3

Round 6 VS. Ashley Speed (sp?)
Win by default. I was hoping to fight a pretty girl. Oh wells. :< There were 3 people who got default, and I played one of them.
3-3

Round Extra VS. Some guy sitting next to Mark, playing DialgaChomp.
Game 1. Beldum UL VS Unown Q. Attach Rainbow, hit for 20. He plays Contest Hall, flips for none, attached, does 40 to Beldum. My turn, donk. Gg.

Game 2: Magnemite VS Garchomp C. He donks me. Totally forgot what happened this round. Finished two games in the time of 1 turn, compared to the games next to us.

Game 3: This is actually a real game. He gets out DGX and GCX. I end up with Metagross, Scizor, Uxie, Spiritomb, and about 2-3 energy. Dang. He doesn't get a DGX, uses Trade-off a lot, and he can't play any of his 4 Power Sprays or his 4 Poke Turns. His hand gets bigger than his deck. By a lot. He kills it and all hell breaks loose. He killed Scizor Prime, I take 1 or 2 prizes. Gg, mysterious man.

Props:
-Mark Garcia, best player ever.
-Getting some cards I needed.
-Going 3-3 at my first play,
-STICKERS!!
-Each Metagross killing some things. Although Scizor had to do all the work. Scizor + Magnezone X = holy wow. Jump from 70 to like 1xx.
-Seeing Juniors play Metagross. WOOP!
-2 people who dropped because one of their girlfriend's car broke down and they had to go. Go where? Your car broke down.
-There was this guy who looked EXACTLY like an Oompa-loompa but with long, spiked hair, like Super Saiyan hair. LOL. I thought it was funny.
-Another guy was playing Heatran/Burn deck. Yesss. And he had a world championship Rare Candy. He put that card and a normal card in one sleeve to hide the back. He got caught. Lol.

Drops:
-Going win-lose-lose-lose-win-default.
-Beating non-SPs, but still losing to SPs.
-Spending too much money because my friend wants to.
-Dropping all my counters on the floor.
-My sandwhich wasn't warm.
-Having to go urinate during rounds 4-6, and not going.
-Missing Ashley. Srsly, I got bored during those 5 minutes.
-More stuff to carry home. OTL. My back hurts.

Any questions?
