First pokemon card/howd you get into it

One day when I was like 9, I was chilling at a friends house, and I found a Base Pikachu and like a Kadabra or something under his bed. He said I could have the pikcachu! My first rare...I traded some kid a bunch of stuff for his Pinsir, and the obsession with Pinsir began!

and my mom's friend's kid got me into collecting, then they gave out some magazine that advertised league and I was like, "I have all these cards, might as well do something with them". Then I went to league and got into pokemanz

First card - was I think a base set Arcanine ( well half of it, I shared my first pack with my brother )

I got into Pokemon OP about 9 years later - I bought the Manteric Theme deck, learnt how to play. Taught loads of people then finally found out about tournaments and attended my first one!
