The thing is kyurem just dies to anything metal. There's no counter besides catchering something and hoping it stays. You can't tech in anything to help the matcup (someone correct me if I'm wrong man I hope I am). I really want to run kyurem because it looks like a fun deck but I just can't see it happening if everyone is teching scizors in hopes of beating it.

I hear people talking about Kyurem with Feraligatr Prime and I don't think it's that good of a strategy cause you're only attaching 3 energies to Kyurem for Glaciate and it's attack cost would've been better as :water::colorless::colorless: instead of :water::water::colorless: which is subpar at best. Other than Feraligatr Prime I don't really see anything else to make it remotely meta.

Kyurem/Feraligatr suffers from the same problems that is currently making BlastiGatr an unplayable deck in HGSS-On being Catcher and Junk Arm and If they take out your Gatr fast enough sure you need at least 2 turns to attach 2 more :water: to Kyurem and those 2 turns could make a difference in changing your opponent's game plan or disrupting it at least.

As for Hydriegon I think it's overhyped as the better :dark: Stage 2 Pokemon is Tyranitar Prime especially when it can Max Potion itself and keep using Darkness Howl for bench spread in the process. So If there's a partner better suited for Kyurem it's probably T-Tar but it's not good enough, I'm thinking more of the lines of Kingdra Prime I dunno I just don't see Kyurem being all that amazing compared to Reshiram and Zekrom in HGSS-On.

Victini has the most potential out of the 3 spoiled cards since it makes cards like Sharpedo TR playable for Strip Bare for hand disruption or Stoutland to get cards back from your Discard Pile even though it gets OHKO'ed by Donphan. Noble Victories has a few good cards here and there but most of it is very gimmicky, not really suited for metagame but just something fun to play around I guess for League Only which is a shame cause there are better cards from Psycho Drive/Hail Blizzard in the set afterwards that have a LOAD of playable cards in it.

Yeah cause they can just get Kyurem back with Revive and the energies with Energy Retrieval/Fisherman. Then Rain Dance on Kyurem again with Gatr Prime with the energies you get back, crazy eh?

As much as I love the full art N card, I'm far more curious as to whether or not they're saving the musketeers for the next set.

Doesn't make sense to delay them, when they could just release them here and have their FA's done and dusted. Delaying them means dedicating 6 slots for them next set, and they would be out of place with the hail blizzard/psycho boost cards that will probably be in the next set (likely, but not guaranteed).

And based on the set size and numbering we've seen so far, I think they'll be here.
What I'm wondering is whether Landorus will get his FA in here, would make sense but then we'd have 6 FA in the set, which is quite a lot if you still only pull 2 per box.

I too love that Hydregion and recognized the Ability Dark Aura. It is the same as the Tyranitar from the expansion, Expedition (2002). Just to make sure I dug up the old rulings from the original compendium and discovered that cards like Double Colorless Energy and Rescue Energy make this critter even more desirable as their effects are retained despite the Energy type being changed.

They goofed on the description for N. There has been at least one other UR Trainer. Here Comes Team Rocket was an UR twice IIRC.

Kyurem is going to be pretty amazing. But there's are two big dampers on it: Zekrom and the upcoming Eviolite. Especially in combination with each other.

Kyurem is getting overhyped IMO. Sure it's going to be a good card, no doubting that. But its support is still shaky. I think it's future lies more in the realm of Teching for Reshiphlosion, and decks that need to counter it.

Hydriegon is a mixed bag, he's good, but he may be slow. I personally want to make a ZPS type support focused on him, but I don't think he'll do that well, at least not immediately.

Victini will see play, but I withhold my opinion since it could be as awesome as it could be horrible, but it definitely won't be ignored.

Landorus doesn't have the appeal of Tornadus's all Colorless attack cost, or Thundurus's Charge, so I doubt it'll see as much play, especially with Donphan. Though the spread is still nice.

N is Admin that is all that needs to be said.

Cafagrigus isn't that appealing, but it's ability will spawn a few rogues, like TR Jumpluff did I'm sure, but nothing else really noteworthy.
