First Ticket

I know that this question has likely been answered a while back, but I can't find any threads on the card (only obsolete ones on Deoxys in FRLG).

Anyhow, I was testing First Ticket in my Plasma deck against a friend in a Best of 3 and when it got to the second game, he got to decide who went first (I won the first game). However, I had First Ticket in my opening hand. In this situation, does the Ticket override the decision of who goes first, or does the choice override the card?

You'd find answers on this kind of concept for the Sableye from previous formats that had a similar effect.

And that answer is that your First Ticket would over ride the normal method of choosing who goes first and you would go first, even over riding a player choice in game 2 or 3 of a Match.
