they should have a time limit or something if they leave the game shey should loose that's how it works in real life, maybe if there is emergencies you are allowed 3 or so DCs per week period or something like that.

im so sick of everyone i play against drop because they cant deal with smoochem's energy antics! >=(

Pokemon Beta Drops

I was wondering, if there's a reputation score for trading, why isn't there a reputation score for on-line games? It doesn't have to count as a win or a loss, just reputation points? If the person has to leave, they can just explain why at least.

ok, let me know, i'll start the post, then there's no problem using the user name?

No. I said it was a "moot point".
That means it is meaningless to do it now because they have fixed the problem.
If someone drops, they lose.
Problem has been solved.

Guess I'd better change the title since it looks like people aren't reading the thread.

I have still people leaving the room without them "dropping or conceding".

The issue has been fixed. I played a couple games today, and when my opponent left the room I was instantly given the win.

Pokepop, I'm not sure where you're looking to find your "record", but it has already been stated numerous times on the tcgo community forums by moderators that there currently isn't any ranking system. It does not yet keep track of your win / loss record and as such doesnt pair you against suitable opponents.

Yay! It seems to have been fixed.

As for lag problems, I had some in the first days that I was on, but that seems to be much better now. Hardly any lag at all.
There are some issues with lag in terms of selecting cards, but I haven't found it to be horrible.
But I'm used to "dial up days".

No you don't get the win. You can wait untill Christmas when someone "leaves the room" but you don't get the win.

that fix didnt work for every one only certain users

According to the two quotes above your post it is fixed.

EDIT: Guess it is just working for some people.

Have they fixed the Legend glitch?

(When you use Super Scoop Up on a Legend you only get one half not the entire thing, the half you didn't choose is the removed for the rest of the game)

Another one is you can't use pokemon communication to shuffle a legend into the deck, however you can get one from out of your deck!

Pokepop, I'm starting to think that maybe my opponent was looking to play against his friend and conceded. How many games have you played to confirm that it's working?

Did it say "You've won!" or did the game just hang up while your opponent had left?

If he conceded, and you were declared the winner, then what else are you expecting to happen?

The game window pop'd up saying "You've Won" right after I finished drawing my hand. In the game chat window it said my opponent had left the room.

I don't think my opponent conceded considering how fast everything happened, altho its possible that he might have. Which is why I was asking if you've played any games in the last day where your opponent has left.

So then it's fixed!

Look, I wouldn't expect Pokemon to chain people's legs to their chair and force them to play out a game that they don't want to play.
All I was expecting was that if someone does drop a game, that they get the loss and don't leave the other player sitting there unaware that they're waiting for someone who is no longer there.

And that seems to be what they have done! :thumb:

It's really hard to distinguish between a player conceding & leaving vs. a player leaving & the game auto-conceding for them.
And it really doesn't matter which it is. The fact that they have left is conceding, isn't it?
