1. Is there going to be a prep day/tournament on Friday?
2. How close is the tournament location to the World's Largest McDonalds? Dad, my brother, and I want to eat breakfast there before the tournament.

I have two giant plush pikachus that I'm looking to sell at Florida regionals. These are extra large, about 3 feet tall plush toys that I won from Busch Gardens. They have "Pokemon Diamond and Pearl" tags on them, and they are made by Toyfactory (www.thetoyfactory.biz). These are way to large to ship, so I thought it would be a good idea to get rid of them at Regionals. They are in excellent condition, but they are just sitting in my room and I don't really have use for them. PM me if you are interested in these.

Ok, this is worrying me. Is this implying that there will be a topcut of 16? We had a topcut of 16 at the Florida States out of 150 people which was ridiculous (Should have been top 32, keeping in mind that NC had a top 16 with 65 people...). There will be easily 200 people in the masters division. If it is top 16, nothing less than 7-1 would make topcut.

No, this is implying that Masters Top16 only will play on Sunday.

Read this part on the main page:

Top Cuts will depend on the number of players that enter.
Top 16 for Masters only will be played on Sunday.

That implies that no matter what the Top cut is, depending on attendance, that Top16 for Masters will play on Sunday.

I thought Regionals was capped at a top 16? regardless of attendance?

From the 2011 Regional Championships FAQ.

After Swiss rounds are complete, there will be a cut to single-elimination finals. The number of players to qualify for the finals will depend on the total attendance in each age group, with a maximum of 32 players playing off in any one division.

Heidi sent a FB message out confirming that there will be a vendor, though no news on who.

There will be a vendor on site buying cards so bring anything you would like to see even if the cards are no longer in the format.
