Looks like I'm going after all. Dad and I will probably be renting a car. Are there any free or low-cost places to go to in the Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral area that mey be of interest? (Besides the original Ron Jon Surf Shop, of course.)

I like to play too. I play baseball, but softball would be fun too.

Cocoa Beach Pier and the beach are about it for free activities.

Another activity this weekend that is fairly low cost is the Air Show at Valiant Air Command's Warbird Museum http://www.vacwarbirds.org/
the only other free activity would be to stroll through Cocoa Village. This area has bistros, bookstores, art gallerys and antique shops.

Oh yeah me and my team will see all of you in well.. 2 days! Haha if you can figure out who i am im bringing the usual crew and then some to the states championship. I will be looking forward to the stiff competition and hopefully we have a lot of really really good players there.
We have the room from Friday morning until Sunday night. We plan on heading over in the morning to set up. Everyone is welcome to come early and stay late.

I got a text at lunchtime today from a buddy of mine who was at the hotel on other business. He said they were already setting up tables for Pokemon.
So it sounds like there won't be any waiting on other groups to get out this time!
Wish I had taken the day off now.

I went by the hotel this afternoon and they were definately setting things up for the weekend. All of the tables and chairs will be i place tonight. We are setting up for 276 players (expandable to 300+).
In addition to the promo card the first 275 players will receive an additional promotional item.
As for Ness and the ball game, the park I mentioned is now a fenced in Dog Park, and it's currently under water. It has been raining most of the day and will continue to do so tonight and tomorrow.
So get here early, check in, and head upstairs to the ballroom. We will have a vendor here Friday night and all day Saturday if you need sleeves, dice, packs, or singles...

On the Road Again....Yep, as soon as Khi gets out of School in about 30 minutes...We will be heading to Cocoa Beach.
Bringing 2 other players with us. We will get in around midnight and head straight to the Ball Room...!!! Can't wait to
