What, States isn't in Cocoa Beach any longer? Bummer.

Now what am I gonna do with all this space food? And my mini Space Shuttle from last year?

Well, at least my father and brother won't be bored out of their wits....

I am ready for a return to Florida!! Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.

Thanks to Ronae and Randy for inviting me back... Although, that invitation was made before the event was even finished last year.... lol.

I already have me tickets bought and the trip planned. Is that jumping the gun or what?

Can't wait! Exicited to be on staff once again.

I expect to see alot of my South Florida Players at states this year!

Way...er I mean...EeveeLover is judging again?

(Maybe I'll play instead. Naw he'd just DQ me. Guess I'll judge again.)

Awww jeez, with all the times I've mouthed off to EeveeLover, I guess I'm going to have to judge too. :D

Can't wait for another wonderful Florida States. Also, there's SO MUCH GOOD FOOD near this location.

You guys are so funny... Good thing looks aren't everything... :D

Marty, if you wanna play, that's fine... I am sure Katie will be happy to kick your butt...

Ronae too...

After the tournament, a player was mugged outside their hotel room, if I remember correctly.

I agree with ness. Last year the morning of of the tourney I broke my toe in my room. Had to try and play with that all day. Then the bathroom down stairs flooded. It sucked.

There was a judge mugged around the hotel the night before states btw too. That happened a few years ago

Attempted mugging. There were also arrests made in that instance, and there was a significant police presence the next year in the area.

I don't think anyone will complain about the new location though. Other than MAYYYYBE parking.

Thank Arceus I stayed at the La Quinta across the street last year. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms, and the best free breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. If and when States returns to Cocoa Beach in the future, y'all should give it a try.

Speaking of lodging, how about Rodeway Inn Maingate for ultra-cheap (yet comfortable) lodging? I stayed there the past two Regionals and it was pretty nice. Free in-room coffee is a plus.

Parking isn't bad at all. There are always spaces on that side of the mall.

It is nice to have states back in my hometown :)
