Well ive been reading through the deck forums for a while and 1 deck that caught my eyes was flygon ex and the fact that even with no energy he can do 100 by wisely utilizing emerge charge (2 boost+ holon electrode) thats when i decided to make my own version of the deck. It may not be original but what the heck i hope u guys can help me improve the deck

The strategy of the deck is to discard energies with the trainers and Holon Ruins. Emerge Charge to quickly power up Flygon ex. with the help of flygon d's delta supply

Holon's castform is for using emerge charge, after getting 2 energy cards attached Holon's castform to return 1 energy and prepare for dragon claw. If there is 2 boost energy in the discard pile emerge charge for the 2 boost attach the Holon's Electrode and return 1 boost energy and you can do dragon claw (100) for 2 turns ^^. It can also provide the energy needed by flygon d to attack when needed

That is Jim Ferrel's list and it is very good going most of the time on a bad day(at least here)it will go 4-1.
 
i really dont like the lm versions of trapinch and vibrava. 1st because trapinch's 1 attack is a bench hitter and vibrava needs react to be effective and the deck doesnt even play 1 react.

pidgeot is an option but the only thing that worries me is that the deck would be more suceptible to battle front, maybe thats the reason you play 4 stadiums

as for victrebell woudnt 2 pokemon reversal be more effective even if it requires flip?
 
After testing out the deck i changed some of the cards hope you can give comments and suggestions thanks
 
I'd take out 1 Holon Ruins and add in 1 more Giant Stump.

Because you have so many Trainers that can help you discard cards from your hand.I feel its sufficient
 
You could try a 1-1 Umbreon EX instead of the Victreebel. You only get a single reversal but it may be more consistent, plus its handy to have a 20 attack for one energy. I've never tried a Flygod variant though, so I'd test it before you go trading based on my crappy suggestion!

not a bad idea but im actually considering using 2 pokemon reversal/pow hand i can sacrifice a 1-2 plusles so i can setup and at the same time use pow. nyways ill try it ^^ thanks (luckily i do have umbreon ex^^)
 
did some minor modifications, mainly going for umbreon ex, im gonna use this deck for an upcoming tourney so any help would be appreciated
 
did some major modifications including Flygon d hopefully to get through most metal pokemons and safeguard pokemons. any suggestions or comments are welcome
 
Trapinch and Vibrava d are much better becuase you can use the Holon Trainers with them. Ive seen the deck with Flygon d but it takes away from the Energy because you need to get a metal energy on him. I suggest you take out 1 Switch and put in a Holon Research Tower. That way you dont have to worry about that dang metal energy also you wont be murdered by Cursed stone and Desert Ruins. There is always a chance they will have more countergyms but 4 is a good ammount.
 
just remember that flygon d can only attach energy to delta pokemon in other words no flygon EX

i plan to use flygon d if i know that the opponent has safeguard etc i woudnt normally use it against decks which i know flygon ex can handle on its own and in any case i will just be attaching the energy to the pre evo of flygon which are both d pokemon^^

will just 1 be ok? ill go with 4 stadium seeing as i have 3 major stadium as problems (battle front,cursed stone and desert ruins) let see what will happen ^^ thanks
 
Battle Frontier isnt a major problem because it only shutd down Flygon d's Power. Seeing as the new format is right around the corner, i would also suggest getting rid of Pokemon Retriever. You can use the space to put in Scott, to get the stadiums you need when you need them as well as PETM.
 
He worries about battle frontier because you then can't use flygon ex his pokepower if that card is in play so you don't get 2 nrg cards.
 
yup battle frontier also shuts down Emerge Charge. went against a queendom it was a good fight the opponent just used pidgeot all the way exploiting the weakness to colorless. it was a close game however and during the 3rd match the time run out in favor of my opponent

its good to know that after the rotation dx on ill be expecting less colorless deck and maybe some crystal shard to counter flygon ex. when the new flygon d ex comes it will surely make a good addition to the deck ^^
