Flygon ex PK: Psychic Protector

Does Flygon EX's Psyhic Protector save it from being knocked out? Example: If my opponent's pokemon was able to do 150 damage to my Flygon EX, am I still able to take off damage or is Flygon EX knocked out?

Psychic Protector reduces damage done to flygon ex. The check for KO is done after the damage calculation, so you could save it from being KO'd by reducing the damage.
