Foul Play vs. Lost Burn

If Zoroark is to use Foul Play, with Special Darkness, to copy Magnezone Prime's Lost Burn, does the extra damage come in to play if Zoroark removes its Special Darkness attached to itself?
 
Yes. Energy cards are chosen first, but damage is done before you do the actual discards.
