Has anyone seen the trailers for the Full Metal Alchemist movie? they look really cool, I can't wait for it to be released so I can watch it.

That movie wins just because I managed to find a translated Japanese magazine article with it referencing the fact that the Jewish community was just starting to feel German oppression. Lost the link (imageboards and all), sadly.

Oh yeah, and older Ed is pretty hot. Hey, guys get to talk about the girls in animé...
 
I wouldn't expect to see it anytime soon, say maybe 1-2 years and I doubt it will hit theatres. With the Us only being at what episode 21? with new eps coming in sept. It could be awhile before you see it here in the US
 
I didnt even know that they had a movie coming out!!! :D that is AWESOME! the summary sounds great. do you know when it's supposed to be here in the us?

26, actually. It's right after Sloth killed Hughes and Ed went to the automail town and met up with Izumi and her Galka of a husband quite unexpectedly. Or at least that's the last dubbed episode that was posted to ABMA. *shrug*

Anyways, good to hear that there is a Fullmetal Movie coming. I became addicted to the show, and this just adds to the addiction (in a good way)
 
The show was good up until Ed arrived in London for the first time—they get points for historical accuracy (I loved the part with Ed calling Einstein's theories "fishy"), but alternate universes are just a very lazy way to go about writing, generally. Actually, I was more interested in how Roy would turn out than Ed.

I didn't think I meant to swear there. I try not to swear at all on the forums

I thought it was an original Idea to do it like that. It provides a twist to the story that is rarely used.

I know you didn't mean to, but using the first 3 letters of Japan represents a derrogatory term that was created during World War II...

any idea on its release date to video in japan? I mean it wasn't doing too well over there. some japanese critics said it was a flop. But if they're anything like american movie critics, they could be dead wrong
