Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Funny discovery. I didn't want to tell ppl from my class I play Pokemon, now.. LOOK!

It's a game EVERYONE was involved with and loved. 95% of kids loved it or knew about it. It's a game that you can say "yeah, I still play and stuff" and you can actually TALK about the game and have people understand.

I went somewhere with my friends wearing the nationals machamp shirt and all of them were like DUDE i played that as a kid i loved that guy, look at him he has 4 arms...

Then i was like, yeah allot of people still play it....

Lol I wear my Team R hat out to parties all the time and my Lafonte shirt to school every once in awhile. Everyone in the school knows I play. My soccer coach lived right around one of the places that I went to a Battle Road at, and he even stopped by and said hi. hahaha

Most people know nothing about Magic, or other games like that. EVERYONE knows about pokemon, and since so many played you can easily bring them into discussion.

Yeah. If only.

Yeah. If only.

I bring Pokemon into EVERY discussion.

"Did you see the Football game last night?"
"Who cares about Football, its so inferior to Pokemon"
"How the heck did you come up with that?"
"Does Football have a small Electric Mouse that can call a Thunderstorm from the sky and KILL ANYTHING, even its owner, if made angry?"
"..."
"How about its own story about the origins of the universe?"
"...well..."
"Does Football have as many BALLS as Pokemon?'
"well... no..."
'THEN TAKE OFF THAT GREEN BAY HAT AND PUT ON THIS PIKACHU COSTUME" *forces costume on*

lol thats great i also wish i still had reces i told people at my school but since i am 2nd in the nation they wanted to play (they think i am a n00b)lol shows ho much they know

i tell my best friends that i play. but the hardest was telling my girlfriend cuz one time when i was sitting my step mom goes
"Kyle you got a pakage from... pokemon?"
i was like oh poop
"uhhh what?" i said
"Kyle arent you to old to be playing that stupid game" step mom
"..... no kathy ok. stop acting like that."
and my gf laughed or like chuckled and my face turned bright red. But i then decided to show her my room and prayed and then she was like
"i think its cool you still do things from when you were younger... maybe u could teach me some day and we can play together :)"
and i was like thank god. and i was happy ever since. if only my step mom could accept me for me. :(

Just today at my lunch table we had a nice long discussion about the handheld games. We had a good laugh about one person that completed the entire Pokedex for Silver Version and had over 400 hours on it.

I can tell my best friends because they are the ones that got me into pokemon. They never got into the TCG but occacionaly they still play the Dimond.

Yey, another comes out of the Pokemon closet!

I've been loud and proud about Pokemon since I started. Most people ask me why I play and I say "because I enjoy it". Simple enough, isn't it? lol

;)

I was spotted playing Pokémon at my league right after i had begun at a new school. That wasn't funny. It were most girls and they said things like this:

-Oh, look at that one! Isn't it cute?
and the ones who didn't like Pokémon on the whole, said things like:
-Is Pikachu good? with a mocking tone. What shall you answer ast that question?

But, they haven't cared later. It's fun the first time, then they get used to it, and they shuts up.

I am in collage and my parents still say things like "you still play this kid's game?" or "Your too old to play this game." The funny thing is that my little sister is really getting in to the game and so my parents are now going out and buying the cards and stuff for her, and when my little sister and I talk about it they are just looking at us like .
