13 Psychic Energy

Strategy:
Either draw cards with Kangaskhan's Fetch attack or, lock trainers early game with Psyduck's Headache attack. You usually achieve this by playing Pokemon trader, then a Switch, and attach your energy. Lass is generally used after a Pokemon Center or, after you retreat a Psyduck that was using Headache. When fully set up, you can start attacking. Then attack with Clefable, which can copy the Defending Pokemon's attacks for a single colorless energy. You can keep attacking with an undamaged Kangaskhan, when facing stall against a Mr.Mime, before setting up Chansey to get Mr.Mime out of the way first (So it will not get knocked after using Chansey's Double Edge). Use Chansey's Double Edge attack and hit 80 damage every turn. Watch out for Machop and Hitmonchan! Move damage counters with Alakazam's Damage Swap Pokemon Power and use Pokemon Center to keep your opponent from getting any prizes.
