Gamefaqs Character Battle Thread: Part Two (featuring MORE Bidoof!)

So far so good!

Mewtwo holds up elite numbers against equally elite competition (Ryu and Bowser are consistently top twenty opponents in the contests)

Bidoof wins gloriously!

Mudkip wins even more gloriously!

Now, I know it may pain some of you, but the next Pokemon to rally for is...Pikachu. Yes, the furry lightning rat. It may be painful, but we HAVE to do this! He MUST get past the competition. <3

Phoenix wright was nominated, and he get second in his division.

Pikachu's pack consists of Serge (Chrono Cross), Tidus (Final Fantasy X), and Isaac (Golden Sun)

Generally I would vote for Isaac, but I HAVE to vote for Pikachu, or else all my years playing this card game were a waste.
 
Isaac..... GAH!!! Our best characters go into groups where they have NO chance of winning, while our WORST characters go into pathetic groups! What gives?!?

Oh yeah I guess I just didn't vote that day or just have a bad memory.
 
Wow. The rat's popularity is pretty darn high. Even in this particular pairing. 13k with 37k in the books. Lookin pretty good. The rat will make it, and might make the Div Finals, but I doubt he'll go beyond that...
 
I must say that I'm shocked at how well the rat did today. In his last contest appearance, he only pulled about 33% against...Fox McCloud, who's only a midcarder in these contests! Now, he's whipping up on Tidus :D.

Pikachu could get out of the division finals, and I'll explain why...

Round 2: If Vivi is one of the two who goes on from tomorrow, then we would have...

Tidus
Vivi
Pikachu
XXXXX (probably Leon)

Now, based off of Tidus' performance this round, it's safe to say that SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) from Vivi will kill him (therefore making it impossible for Vivi _or_ Tidus to outplace Pikachu). Using this logic, Pikachu will get first or second easily.

Round 3 (Division Finals): So now we can assume...

XXXXX (most likely Leon)
Pikachu
Dante (a shoe-in because he's easily this divisions strongest character)
XXXXX (Amaterasu, Balthier, or Ada)

Unlike the last division, where Pikachu was outright stronger than Tidus "or" Vivi, he's blatantly weaker than Leon and Dante. However, if Ada makes round three, then you can count on SFF applying!

Why did they have to put Ridley, Vivi, and Leon together?
Ugh.. RE is good, but I really want the other guys in :/

W00t! Haseo is tomorrow! Go Haseo!! I say this knowing that in no way could he ever do well in the character battle because as cool as he is, hes not nearly known or popular enough. And I don't know exactly who all the other characters fighting him are either. Riku, Roxas, and Ryu Hayabusa. I've enver heard of them. I'd assume that Ryu might have something to do with the previous Ryu who owned everyone. anyone know?

Riku and Ryu are the ones to go far. ROXAS SUCKS. PERIOD.
