Strategy:Get Absol out 1st and Baleful Wind their hand,then bring out Gallade and start to Sonic Blade their pokemon.Use Gardevoir and Gardevoir Lv.X if your active Gallade is in trouble. Once their pokemon start to weaken, start using Gardevoir to clean-up whats left.

This deck I copied from a friend and this got me 2nd in Cities in Sevierville. I was demolished in Ashville Cities and was wondering if this needed any improvements.
 
Sableye CG makes a nice tech for this deck. It helps with topdecks and can help you stall for a big hit. Just a useful card in pretty much any deck these days.

That is way too much. How about we cut that to one, add and add two Castaway.

I'd cut that to three, and add a Strength Charm.
 
I would swap the Dark NRG for Fighting. Absol is not in the deck to use Raid, but as you said, for baleful wind. Gallade needs fighting for Sonic Blade (Key against Blissey, Empoleon, etc.). You might not be the only one using disruption. There is no need to dilute sonic blade width DRE if you don't have to.

What beat you in Ashville?
 
Let's just say A LOT of kids beat me. But the person who shocked me was a NC kid who, after I Baleful Winded his 1st Gardy Lv.x, pulls ANOTHER Gardy Lv.X out and beat me right then and there. I think his name was Bill Peebles, I'm not sure.
 
You dont need Copycat. Your Absol is discard their hand, if you are doing that Copycat is gonna be pretty useless. I think that you would be better off with some other trainers instead. I also think you dont need 4 PlusPower. If I had a choice I would go 1 Charm and 1 PlusPower and use those spots for somthingelse. Um, 3 Night Maintenance is fine. I have a friend that plays 3 and does fine with them. (Except when I discard all 3 with my Absol :lol:) Um, also I think that you could consider playing Lake Boundary.

To help out with your energy problems, try Multi.

That one guy is right, Copycat is not a card to be played with absol and mars. Counter-productive, is the term i think.
You SHOULD BE PLAYING WAGER.

I've honestly played gardy without the LVL X and having TWO seems a little ridiculous... but i hate, hate, hate absol so i really hate this deck.

In my opinion, absol is counterproductive to a setup deck. Sure you hurt your opponent's setup, but what does absol do for you?

Ban absol, play a real setup pokemon...

Absol discards your opponent's supporters, thus putting them in the discard pile for your use with Gardevoir, while damaging their setup. So Absol, in a really weird way, helps your setup.

you have no castaway so it's not important if you use Dark Special or Basic so better run the Special Ones... For the extra 10 damage :p
 
This is how i like to run my Gardy/Gallade line

4 Ralts
3 Kirlia
4 Galade
2 Gardy
1 Gardy LV.X
4 Absol
(4 candy)

you might say 6:4 ratio top heavy is to much, but i alway count on either 1 gardy or galade being prized every game. I would want to max out the gallade just for consistency sake, as you don't have may pokemon to begin with...

I'd run atleast 1 maybe 2 TGW

Max the DRE
convert basic dark to fighting/psycic
up your scramble count to 2-3

I agree with drew 1-1 plus power/strength charm
3 night maintenance
4 cessation crystal

watch out for crystal beach! it kills your DRE's, I'd consider some sort of counter-stadium, although what to use... I'm not sure...

another alternative is to go with the stadium/windstorm idea

this is all pure speculation at this point TO ADD LOTS OF CC OR NOT DEPENDS ON YOUR METAGAME. See, around me powers are still huge, so i use alot of CC

If you wanted to focus on a counter to Crystal Beach you could simply

-3 cast away
-2 cessation crystal
+3 Lake boundary (or another stadium, up to you)
+2 Rowan or Oaks research

Lake Boundary is almost a must in this deck. You take out arguably the two most abused decks in the format...Blissey and the mirror.
 
The basic dark energy is fine at 2, if you ever need to attack w/ Absol and a PP for 50 (if done the same turn you play the absol on the bench....move up to active and attack). Multis dont really work since DRE and Scramble make it a single colorless and 2 multis cancel each other out, if on the same poke.

Lake boundary is not an absolute necessary though. You do need either a stadium to counter Crystal Beach (one dropped on you right now would cripple you....you have no way to counter/KO the stadium) Gotta go with either 3 stadiums or 3 windstorms. You get the room by - 2 copycat. Not really the ideal card for gardy if you are ripping their hand apart w/ absol. -1 lvl X. There are 3 slots opened now.

Your list on here now is not bad, just needs a few fixes. Gotta address the stadium issue though. You can fiddle with the tools a bit too to open up space. Maybe add a strength charm in there, possibly lose the buffers.

Gotta have at least 2 NM. Do not put 4 cess. in here. I can see possibly one tech Cess, used after you set up yourself, but I'd use that space for something else.

Hmmm...I placed 3rd with this deck yesterday in a CC
I didn't have all the cards I needed to finish the deck so I had to compromise... I was missing 2 absols! anyway I got that fixed now - here was my deck list

Good luck with this deck it seems pretty good - I only lost once... against a blissey deck
Because of blisey being so good I'm thinking about running like 1 or 2 scotts and 1-3 lake boundaries...

IMO Absol is a bad choice. Claydol will just eat him for a mid-morning snack. Instead, I would put in a 4/2 line of Furret. Yes, I know that Furret has a weakness to fighting, but it will help you set up quickly. If you don't like the Furret idea, you could even try stantler (This is what I run momentarily, but I'm probably going to try Furret.) Also cut the NM by 1 and try to fit in some windstorms.
