As what I consider the last of the top three decks in the format, with Blaziken and Sceptile, I figure I will post my list for Gardevoir, or as Monkeyman calls it, Godevoir. I say we use that one as its too great not to pass up. I posted this deck last as I needed to test it more. I am going to definitely say I am FAR from one of the first to use this deck. MANY people used it before me, but DAMN, I cannot pass up its power. Its just so good.

4 Ralts
3 Kirlia
2 Gardevoir
2 Gardevoir EX
2 Skitty
2 Delcatty
2 Wynaut
2 Wobbuffett.

18 Psychic NRG

4 Oracle
2 Town Volunteers
3 Pokemon Nurse
4 Copycat
2 Fan Club
4 Potion
2 Switch
2 Prof Oaks Research

This deck requires a high NRG count for a few reasons. First of all, Gardevoir searchs for them, and the more times you can use its PP the better you are off all game. You dont want to run out of NRG to draw ( as you want 2 NRG drops a turn to take full advantage ) and you dont want to have them all in play or discarded. Toss in the use of Delcattys PP, and your a bit stressed on NRG, even with 18. Thats why I run 2 TVs.

Wynaut, combined with Delcatty and all of the draw engines, helps this deck become extremely consistant. Toss in the higher number of non NRG draws due to you filtering your deck of NRG draws due to Gardevoirs PP, and your set. Potions are used to negate Gardevoirs PP drawback.

Pokemon Nurse is just a sick card in general, and helps even more in this deck. Gardevoir requires one NRG to attack. Thats great for this combo. 100 HP and the ability to effective Poke- Center the damage off. Even Gardevoir EX has synergy with Nurse. Use it, attach and than use a Gardevoirs PP to get the 2nd NRG on it to attack with its first attack. Now, I am not sure if this is effective enough to warrant 3 Nurse, but running 2 at least seems brilliant.

I think this is an upgrade to the one posted by Monkeyman, as it has better healing, and the draw is more effective. The energy count also is more solid here, and the addition of my favorite line, Oracle Delcatty, helps to improve consistancy dramatically.

A few cards that may warrant play here, that Id like opinions on, are Mewtwo EX, simply as the card is broken, and Rare Candy, for a 2nd turn Gardevoir is just wrong. I also have a VERY interesting varient that is so different that I need to test it alot more before seeing if it is worth it. Ill post it ASAP once testing is completed.

Just when I thought I was in full recovery from this addiction, you go and post these decks. You're a dangerous man, and you must be stopped!

IMO. you should cut 2 Kirlia and a Wobbuffet for 3 Candies.

It's all about the speed.

Har Har. I am indeed a dangerous man! Har Har. And a pirate apparently. But thats besides the point. I think I can drop 1 Kirlia for a Rare Candy, but the others I am iffy about. Consistancy is much higher with the stage one, and I wanted more basics so I get a better start, and I dont want to cut the count below what I believe is 10 currently.

Yea you need rare candy for mirror matches and stuff. Mewtwo ex is kinda bad, wobbuffet is better. I played a lot of Eon games and it seems like Oaks Research is better because the opponent often has like 4 cards or less in his hand. So maybe go -2 Copycat +2 Oaks Research.

a lot of people play Delcatty, its like the cleffa of EON ... Most of the time, they will have 4-5 cards in there hand, which is basicly a research.
in all my eon's, i run 3-3 on CC and POR. It works just fine with delcatty.

Oh and yes, there are ways we can have a big hand, my opponenet and i had 5 or more cards in our hand about 70% of the game, due to delcatty.

Copycat has lost power, but, it's still and efficent source of draw.

Rare Candy is worth considering...Im gonna add 1-2 of them and see if they work well. I am NOT a fan of Oaks Research that much currently. I run it in this deck only because it cannot afford to use Juggler like most of my dekcs -_-

rare candy

Hey Chris
I run 2 rare candy. However, I have been told that you can not rare candy Gardevoir EX from ralts but you can rare candy Gardevoir. I am still running 2 Gardevoir EX/ 3 Gardevoir. I know some people think it's over kill, but having 2 Gardevoir on the bench is huge. I also play a version with Azumarill thats kinda fun but wynaut is faster. As far as copycat/oaks research without elm/cleffa the difference between the effectiveness of each has narrowed. Delcatty is what makes copycat a viable supporter in this format.

First off, the deck DOES dominate, but I do not think it is broken to a format unbalancing degree just yet. It can be kept in check as you do have the ability to control how much damage they deal to a degree if you know what you are doing, plus Wobbuffet hoses you somewhat. Well, not a ton, but it hurts, as does Mewtwo EX. ANYWAYS, now onto Broken Lizards deal.

First of all, what is so wrong with using a net deck? If I didn't want others using my deck, I would not post it, no? I post decks so other can not only use them ( Hopefully at least giving me SOME credit...and large sums of money and or beautiful women ) but also so I can get input by them over how the deck runs. I do not have as MUCH playtesting time as before ( I play the bass now...it eats up time ) Plus, trying to discredit somewhat for not using an original deck isnt too cool either. Sometimes decks are just BETTER. I mean, honestly, I test my own stuff, but if a deck is just TOO good, I use it. I dont care who made it. Basically I like to say, dont hold it against someone for not making there own deck. Thats unfair. BUT its perfectly fine to hold someone higher on your views for using their own deck.

And I hate turning on you like that broken lizard...but he really didnt say anything that offensive in his post...sure he commented on you needing a new deck, but due to the smiley and general content of it I did not see it in a harmful manner but more prodding. Of course I dont know him IRL, so I really can;t comment TOO much, but it seemed like some simple trash talk to me :p

So everyone hug, kiss, make up and make love children together! WOO HOO! I GET PSYCODAD!!!

Broken Lizard:
I greatly apoligize. It was only supposed to be a joke, but I took it too far. Please accept my apology. Thats all I ask of you. I will be changing my Eon deck now...
-Derrick

P.S. - I know it doesn't chnage the fact, but I deleted my post.
And so I no longer disgrace our league, I am planning on leaving Pokegym. I'll be seeing you all around.... :( Cheers...And this is no reason of Lizard's, this is all my own doing. Too much to do, so little time.

Well I will say I have been using this decklist as a test. More of a test for my ideas for Eon to see if it can beat it. I think this deck could use a Fisherman. This deck goes through all 18 energy so quickly. Town Volunteers has been huge but Fisherman would allow to attach without the 20 from Gardevoirs power. Very good deck Chris. I suggest others use this deck or Levi's PERFECTED version to test their decks against. You need to have a chance against this deck to win in modified.

awww Im hurt, you took his over mine =P! j\k but in all seriousness this deck is a beast. I need to test it vs eggy blaziken. seems like a horrible match up to me

Yeah, both this and Monkeys are INSANE. I think I like my list a bit better but I am SURE Levi can play a thousand times better with Godevoir, as I don't use this deck as much. Levis list is really good anyways, we were discussing tweaks and stuff to both lists over AIM -_-. And yeah, Blaziken Eggs kinda opens up a can on this...as does Sceptile TecH....ESPECIALLY the newest version...I kept forgetting Godevoir EX was grass weak too -_-

Wow! I like to see so many solid, yet different Garde ex decks out there!

Pokemon (19):

4 Ralts
3 Kirlia
2 Gardevoir
2 Gardevoir EX
2 Skitty
2 Delcatty
2 Wynaut
2 Wobbuffett

Trainers (23):

3 Copycat
3 Professor Oak's Research
3 Oracle
3 Potion
3 Moomoo Milk
3 Switch
3 Warp Point
1 Pokemon Fan Club
1 Town Volunteers

Energy (18):

18 Psychic

First off, in a suppertor-mon format, it's very hard to play 15 supporters, so my first goal was to abolish some of those. I noticed that you had some Nurses, which would be kind of hard to play in such an energy-oriented deck. So I removed those for moomoo's. Of course, I also saw the SWEET combos that could be pulled through garde, garde ex, and Nurse, so don't totally count it out yet. Could be the next Kingdra, I tell ya...

Another twist

I saw a version today with boost. It's an interesting concept in that it counts as 3 nrg. Hmmmm......

When I started playtesting your last version was the one with Furret and I thought the Delcatty version was better. Now of course you have that version as the next day yours became PERFECTED. :thumb: Perhaps I'll try yours next but I want to try Blaziken first. :D

Yah I tried playing vs Eggy blaziken and there is virtually no way to beat it if it gets up >_< the only way I one was because of my vicious skills =P and the decks own inconsistancys.

Okay, the best way to win the gardevoir/blaziken match up is to get gardevoir ex as soon as possible. The second thing you try to build is either a gardevoir or a delcatty to draw healing. The Blaziken deck's weakness is that it takes an extreme amount of resources to get going and exeggutor is useless until it has some energy in play.

Actually, I just pulled it off against my own blaziken/exeggutor deck two times out of four. I don't have the insane playtesting sessions that some experts have, but you get the idea. The lists for both are very similar to yours.
