Gardevoir Lv. X Question

If I have an active gardevoir Lv. X in play and a gardevoir with 100 damage on my bench, and all my opponent only has a boltoy with no damage on it and I use gardevoir Lv. X's bring down what happens?

Does my opponents pokemon get knocked out or my benched gardevoir?

Bring down reads : Choose 1 pokemon (yours or your opponent's) with the fewest remaining HP (EXCLUDING GARDEVOIR) and that pokemon is now knocked out.

So I guess I am wondering if bring down can knock out any gardevoirs at all. Or if it is only applying to itself.

Whenever a Pokemon uses it's own name, it is only talking about itself (unless it says "any Gardevoir" or something like that). So, it is not including the benched Gardevoir in its protection.
Your benched Gardy would be KO'd.
