OK... guiding my way through a blind meta-game right now... with GE to come out, not knowing what decks will show-up. I plan ahead, thinking what "may" be used, things that are proned to be fighting weak, but mainly, can't really deal with a pest like Gallavoir. Knowing this, I have decided to compile and start to test a deck, with a 2 GE cards though, but I hope to use this at States, hopefully ensuring me Top4 meaning nationals, but not knowing I hoep to have a decent list. I'd like your input and criticism... but please be constructive.:thumb:
Pokemon: {19}
4 Ralts DF (This is used for sole-purpose, sleep, hoping they aren't a luck sack and get heads, which means starters, such as Phione etc. will be useless, and just a sitting duck. I chose this over SW for many purposes)
2 Kirlia SW (This is the obvious way to go, and also has an added bonus including nice attacks.)
2 Gardevoir SW (This is used mainly for Power, but atatck shutting down powers is not bad.)
3 Gallade SW (The main attacker, being able to OHKO almost any card, this opposs a great threat)
2 Gardevoir Lv.X (Is used for it's "Bring Down" attack, combined with Gallade's first attack, it can get those weak poekmon out)
4 Stantler SW (The starter for the deck, getting a nice set-up, this card is rather my way instead of Furret/Absol)
1 Cresscelia GE (Just used before a Lv.X, though it's second attack may become uuseful once the whole game, getting that 10 HP away from KO Gallade back and ready)
1 Cresscelia Lv.X GE (Combined with it's power and Gallade's forst attack, it can get 2 easy prizes, then just switch back and continue the cycle.)
Trainer: {25}
3 roseanne's reasearch (Used to get out basics/energies when crucial. A good card when needing a quick candy, gallade, DRE)
4 celio's (A main supporter. He is used to set-up for many pokemon, and is pretty good for the deck, getting Gallade/Gardevoir when ya need it)
4 rare candy (Used to get quick Gallade/Gardevoir's out and start OHKOing hopefully, quick set-up)
2 TGW (Used when I really have a bad hand, is a nice addition and can leave your opponent saying ouch...XP)
3 Mars (A disruptive card, and doing 2 in 1 turn with Kirlia can be nice.)
2 night maintenance (Getting back some gardy/ralts/and energies back can become usefull)
2 warp point (Allowing to get a Gardy Lv.X, then able to telaportation back to Gallade, to kick booty)
1 windstorm (Needed, mainly just for Cessation/pesty stadiums)
2 castaway (To get quic energy, celio, and strength charm, nice card, and can really help)
2 strength charm (When you have a DRE, this could mean the differene between a whole other flip prize!)
Energy: {16}
7 psychic (Used for Gardy X, and Gallade when needed)
3 fighting (Used for Gallade only, just if needed and no DRE)
2 scramble (Come back for a Stantler KO)
4 DRE (Used for a quick hit and devastating hit!
Strategy:I basically descrived it above^:lol:
So, I can't really include meta-game as I am sadly not psychic. But I am thinking about a 1-0-1 Queen d line to speed up set-up, watcha think? Thanks for your help!
