//NAME: Delta Curse

Pokemon
4 Gastly LM
3 Haunter LM
4 Gengar LM
4 Lickitung d
Trainers
1 Holon Lass
1 Holon Farmer
1 Holon Scientist
2 Holon Adventurer
3 Holon Mentor
4 Holon Transceiver
3 Copycat
4 Curse Powder
3 Windstorm
3 Crystal Beach
3 Holon Legacy
3 Rare Candy
Energy
10 Psychic Energy
4 React Energy

The Strategy:
The Strategy is to lay down the counters with lickitung where needed. Get a few early ko's and spread them around all the board. Then gengar comes out and lays some more for a few more ko's and they receive damage when they ko me.
I would love for Blaziking to fix this up

It would probably help if you put in some scramble energy in this deck. That way when your Lickittung is KOed, then you can use a Scramble on your Gengar.

4 ghastly
2 haunter
4 gengar
4 lickitung d
1 girafirig (LM)

7 psychic
4 react
3 scramble

Run 4 curse powder, and your basic holon engine. Also, use any trainer cards to get your tools out as fast as you can. This is SIMILAR to how I run my Gengar deck.

Girafirig gives you an extra basic pokemon in the deck, plus isn't a terrible starter.
If you are going to test scramble, I would advise NOT using crystal beach, because if you are losing, you'll shoot yourself in the foot.

why not try instead of Lick. try Ariados UF. Sprider Trap, then Attack with Ariados, when he's low, switch for Gengar for the KO.

Don't hurt me.... But we use to run Gengar with DRE, Reversal, and WOBB... I feel thats the best way to do it. Also Crystal Beach is cool but when a decc is so focused on damage counters I think Cursed Stone would be a better way to go.

EDIT
Also I see a huge problem with YOUR list... There is absolutely no way to search out Gengar or Haunter.... Lets add 4 Celio's Network.

-3 Holon Legacy
-3 Crystal Beach
-1 Windstorm
-1 Copy Cat

+4 Celio's Network
+3 Cursed Stone
+1 Scott

if there are a lot of mewtricks at your legue then you want more haunters

I've used cessation crystal in the deck. Drop your windstorms for it.

Throw a CS on the lickitung and the opponent is forced to use their WSs on lickitungs, and your curse powder is untouched, as are your disruptive gyms.

If you can time well, using legacy, beaches, crystals, the opponent WILL get heavily disrupted, and their 4 windstorms can't stop the ~10 cards you use to disrupt.

A 1/1 wobby line might be an okay idea.

Also, you need castaway. They're too good to not be in the deck.

-3 WS
-3 Beach
+2 castaway
+2/3 cessation crystal
+1 legacy (or go all BFs)

i thought espeon would help alot
because with this deck, it may lay the counters on early but the big pokes come out soon and those 3 dmg counters arent going to help so much more, espeon comes in and devo's them, and their either ko'ed or i ko them with tung or gengar. Espeon also helps late game. Cessation's are their for reasons stated in the above post.
anyway w/e here it is

dang it...looks like Gengar is becoming an archetype already......oh well, at least I know I have been playing Gengar decks since Regionals last year ;) (in 06...07 already sucks :p)

Have u thought about running Bannete EX cg with this deck and 1 Bannette safeguard???
I have seen a pretty good player use the deck and he happens to be #9 in the world right now, it is pretty good, The trainer line is pretty close to his line but obviously the pokemon line is different. I would suggest running a 3-1-3 gengar LM and a 2 Bannette EX and 1 Safeguard bannette with 4 shuppet(ascension). Just an idea.

-1 Copycat
-2 Espeon Ex
-2 Eevee
-3 Cessation Crystal
-3 PETM

+1 Roselia LM
+2 Wobbuffet (adds to retreat cost)
+2 Wyanut
+3 Cursed Stone
+3 Celio's Network

Roselia's body will come in helpful. If your opponent lays a Cursed Stone, Roselia cancels it out. Heck, you could even run Cursed Stone now. I think the Wobb could be better with Roselia, it's almost like last year's mew lock, but no Mew. And gengar is better than Jynx cause of Jynx's weakness, and Gengar's Power. But then you couldn't run Cessation crystal. You shouldn't run anyway cause it would cancel Espeon's Power if you stick with that. I think that you run enough stadiums where they would have to use the windstorm on those.

Your newer deck (post #16) looks really solid, I really like it. I've been looking at it for a while trying to squeeze in a third Castaway but can't seem to do it (possibly -1 Transciever +1 Castaway?).
