i used gengar in master div at australian nationals and came 9th

Great build!
But heres what I would change.
-1 lookers investigation
-2 super scoop up
- 1 unown G

+ 1 Nidoqueen RR
+ 1 Nidorina
+ 1 Nidoran female
+ 1 Broken time space

Everything else looks great!

I personally think a 1-0-1 is fine though. 4 Lookers is overkill. I would cut it down to 1 and add 3 Pokedexes.

You would need Nidorina in this case as Nidoran F can not evolve into Nidorino.

1 Looker's in a Gengar deck? To ensure best use of Poltergeist you will certainly need as many as possible. I would stick with 3-4.

Well to use it to make sure you hit is one thing, but to make your opponent shuffle their hand in vs. a good opponent is pointless. If they have Claydol out, they will draw 1.

In my playtesting, I can always get Gengar and Nidoqueen out on T1. However, many of you suggested taking out 1 Looker's and I completely agree. I'm constantly stuck with them, and I feel that three might just do the trick. I'm considering adding in 1 Nidorina, but I feel that may not be right. Any idea what I should add in for that extra spot?

great deck
but i would take out the 3 call
and put in 3 psychic
because even if you get a call turn one
ur gonna wanna use pitch dark any ways cus its better at that time
