Thank you for reading! I haven't played in quite a while, so please bear with me as I attempt to catch up with new pokemon, and new trainers.

Pokemon:

Claydol x2 GE
Baltoy x2 GE
Gastly x4 SF
Haunter x3 AR
Gengar x3 AR (Curse power)
Gengar Lv X AR
Gallade 4 x3
Gallade 4 LvX x1
Azelf +1

Trainers:
Night Maintenance x2
Rare Candy x4
Broken Time Space x2
Warp Point x1
Switch x1
Poke Turn x3
Luxury Ball x1

Supporters:
Roseanne's Research x4
Bebe's Search x4
Prof. Oak's Visit x4
Cynthia's Feelings x2

Energy:
Call Energy x2
Psychic Energy x10

Strategy:
Getting damage spread around as much as possible using Gallade 4, Gengar's Curse and finishing off heavy HP dudes with Gengar LvX. Fairly straight forward, Just need assistance with trainer line and where to fit anything else necessary for this deck.

Uber flaws:

Zero energy acceleration
No good, basic pokemon to start the game with

Suggestions please!

As I mentioned, I haven't played in a while. My sense of trainer balance is all kinds of wrong. As demonstrated by having 2 warp point and 1 switch in a deck that has a free retreat pokemon as the main attacker.
There are loads of new supporters, but I can't seem to visualize how they would function in this deck. Ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Good cards that I have been told must go into every single deck this season:

Spiritomb. I discovered how nasty this guy is during an unlimited game. Great lockdown, free attack with evolution and deck search.

Uxie. Draw until you have 7. I like this guy, but if I am to keep the Aerodacyls, I need the bench space.

Claydol. I have a 2-2 line. Do I need a 3-3 due to lack of Uxie?

Azelf. I am running 1 level X. This card needs no explanation.

Thinking about stuff:

Energy acceleration. Flygon delta, Altaria EX, Typhlosion with Firestarter, Blastoise from almost any set; all of these got you more energy somehow. I don't like the idea of Energy Pickup due to the coin flip, and Flint only works on SP. Good for Gallade, and maybe Crobat, but not Gengar.

There is a Claydol that can place 3 damage counters anywhere for 2 colorless. 4 Baltoy/2 of each Claydol? Even if Gengar has no energy, I can still use curse to focus the damage someplace and have him as a backup attacker.

Starter pokemon were the best and coolest thing ever last time I played. (Stantler/ Chingling) Other than Spiritomb, what else is popular right now? Furthermore, what would work with this deck?

I am thick skinned, please give me feedback on anything about this deck idea. Good, bad, or horrid I will be listening. Thank you!

All hail Stantler. Best tech with Cyrus's Conspiracy. I see that alot of people used to use him to get out Cynthia's Feelings. I like it.

The Damage Bind Ampharos can be pretty sick with Gallade, but I really don't think you have room for it in your deck. I would actually cut the aerodactyl part of the deck for gallades and support.

Agreed, Gallade is going to be more reliable and faster.

So
-Ampharos
-Mareep
-3 Aerodactyls
-3 Old Amber

+3 Gallade EF
+1 Gallade EF Lv X
+1 Azelf
+3 Poketurn

Better, but still in need of some work.

IMO you should use the SF Gengar line (SF Gastly, SF Haunter, SF Gengar). Maybe add a Luxury Ball instead of one :psychic:.
